Hello everyone,
I am posting this on behalf of Jimmy Reeves and Larry Nevel to introduce the new Nevel break cue. These cues are custom made by Jimmy Reeves and break AWESOME. A break cue is a break cue right? No sir. He has done something a little different and you can really tell when breaking the balls. Jimmy told me that a few were made up now with more coming in the near future. The cue will be available in stained birdseye maple as the forearm and buttsleeve with a wrap or a solid piece of stained birdseye from the joint to the buttcap (with the exception of the bottom ringwork and ringwork at the joint) The wrapless one piece butt cues will be $300 and the ones with a wrap are going to be $350. The rings are going to be standard as you see in these pics with the exception of different colors maybe. He can stain them about any way a customer wishes as well. Anyway, here are a few pictures of one that was complete with a wrap to give you an idea. Signed Larry "The Truth" Nevel on the buttcap.

Hey Trav,

How can these be purchased or ordered ? Are you going to be a dealer or do these have to be ordered directly from Jim and or Larry ???

Looks very nice

Thanks...........Paul

When you say he has done something different, can you tell us what he has done differently to his break cues that make them better than others already on the market that are in the same price range???

Thanks
Walter

I can get you one no doubt if you would like one. Jimmy does not want to say what has been done differently on the cues. I am simply relaying a message. Someone also was asking if the ferrule was an ob1. It is a threaded tenon that you are seeing threaded into a clear ferrule.

I had an opportunity to try one of these out last Saturday at our Saturday tournament. One of our tournament players had picked one up from Larry. They do in fact crush the balls. The clear ferrule (I don't know what the material is) really sends the cueball out in a hurry. It is also neat that you can see the tenon threading right through the ferrule, although that has nothing to do with its playability. It was an obviously very well-constructed cue.
