Help needed setting up a raffle. For the sake of my 5 yr old son.

I'm not usually the kind that asks strangers for help but in this situation I'm asking on behalf of my son I guess.

I have a new Jacoby cue, it's a southwest styled cue that has been for sale for a while now. I just bumped it before starting this thread.

Can anyone out there in this AZ family set up a raffle for me for this cue?
I'm going to use the $$$ to help replace lost wages due to an extended stay in the hospital. My 5 yr old son contracted E. Coli from another child at daycare and is now having serious complications due to it. His kidneys are about to the point they are going to be shutting down and it sounds like we will be starting dialysis today sometime. I refuse to leave his side during this trying time for him so I'm basically living here at the hospital and using the public computer station here at the hospital and I don't have access to all of my normal computer resources.

His name is Joshua Nicholson and he's here at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.

If someone has the time and resources to get a raffle set up for me I'd be forever in your debt.

Please PM me or respond here if you can help me out. I'd like to get somewhere between $750.00 - $900.00 for the cue and the case that is in the original for sale thread for the cue. If someone is able to set this up, collect the funds and send the $$$ to me when it's done? I'd be willing to let whoever could do this keep some of the funds to re-imburse them for their time and effort. I think Koinkid (Troy) or tsb&p and a few others can vouch for me as far as being a stand up guy if you have any concerns.

I'll try to get on this computer once ore twice a day to check for responses and/or PM's.

I hope your son has a successful and speedy recovery. I just spent the night in the hospital with my mother and missed work today. I have no experience with running raffles, but I will take a spot when it is organized. Best, Jim

I would be happy to organize a raffle on your behalf and once the winner verifies receipt of the cue I will send you the money from the raffle. I do not require anything from you for doing this, I will get the raffle started using the Powerball number for 20.00 a spot. This should net you around 850.00 after shipping and PP charges. I sent you a PM, once you confirm the PM I will create the raffle thread.

I hope all goes well with your son. It is hard seeing loved ones suffer when we are helpless in relieving their pain. I will help you in your raffle in any fashion I can.

Coats, if you need any help just let me know. I will at least help with the sale of the cue by purchasing a ticket or two.

Sorry to hear about your son. I hope all turns out ok. PayPal fees can add up, especially when you are transfering the money a few times. I help out a local non-profit and often have to transfer money from PayPal accounts. What I found out is that when I use my Blackberry to send the money, I get charged no PayPal fees. Don't know if this works for all PayPal accounts, but it doesn't hurt to try if possible. Just keep this in mind, and it will save you some money. Hope this helps.

If you can provide some sort of verification that your boy is in the hospital (not at all suggesting that it is not the case), I can send a lot more money.
