Chechem is a pretty wood and you don't see it often. My cue is made from it and the maker told me it's the best wood he's used in terms of hit.
 
Bryan, can you tell us a bit more about this cue: is this cue cored? where does the wood come from? Is this cue weight adjustable? The Balance point? Thanks

Sure, this cue has been cored with wenge. I like using wenge for coring because it is lightweight, very stable, and a nice porous grain structure (good for gluing). The cue weight can be adjusted up but not down. I use small socket cap set screws for this. The balance point is a bit forward at around the 19" mark.
