I'm very sad to say that Arthur died this morning.
He lived his life to the fullest and lived and died the way he wanted.

Pool has lost a Legend. The world has lost a wonderful man.
And we have lost a good friend.

I would like to thank everyone who sent notes of encouragement and
kindness to him. I printed them and read them to Arthur and his family.

thank you,
Barry Szamboti

This is a very sad day. Aside from being a great cuemaker, Art was a very nice person, always there with a kind word and a smile to brighten up the darkest of days.

My condolences go out to his entire family.

RIP.

Very Sad News ...
I gotta' say,
I spoke to Him on the phone a couple of years ago about ordering a cue...
He was a really cool man.
And I could tell,
He really enjoyed building cues, and was very willing and accommodatiing"

sad

Arthur was, and will always be a unbelievable human being to have known. It was a treat to be around him, with his incredible personality and such a history of life long accomplishments. When I would call him we would always end up talking about Glen Beck and laughing our asses off.

Arthur was, is and always will be in my heart and mind forever....I allways loved him.

I have heard this very, very sad news but I knew there are more appropriate persons to post this sad news who have known Art better. But all this doesn't matter, the cue world has lost a wonderful and very gifter cue maker on this awfully sad day.

I wholeheartedly wish that he rests in peace and my condolence goes out to his family and friends.

I only met Art for the first time this year at VF and was very honored to have gotten to know him for such a short time. We had a great time hanging out and I will miss not seeing him again. I offer my deepest condolences to his family and friends. Art I'll have a shot of scotch in your memory tonight.
