I really like the reverse points, very unique. Definitely a Bebot! Congrats....

thanks Jim. i just thought i'd like to share also... the cue was supposed to be just plain snakewood forearm, then whole yh handle extending to buttsleeve, no design whatsoever. but bebot saw it to be somehow awkward and wasting the beauty of the wood combo and he decided to modify it with owner's consent. i am also as eager to see this cue when finished. :)

Video

Hi General!

On BDN I see there is a great video of the master working by hand on his lathe on this very cue. I love that because it really shows how he takes down the butt a little at a time and I see his hands at work - feeling the cue! To me it is beautiful to see this kind of craftsmanship on a cue.

hi Jeff. yeah, the link of the video is also posted here. that's why i make the most of every minute i am in the shop. i learn a lot and i also 'feel' on my own the personal touch and value of each of our cues. i may sound corny but it's really moving for me seeing all our cues, from conception to completion, being literally touched by the cuemaker's bare hands.

see you soon!

Great to watch a skilled craftsman at work! Now that is old school.

thanks. it's really nice to see a cue made the old school way... and surprisingly still come up with cues that well speak for themselves in terms of craftsmanship, quality, and probably the most important of all, playability.

on the side, here's another clip of how we make our JPs:

truly handmade. kudos to mervin (one of bebot's sons) who is doing a great deal of work on this cue... mervin is the one in-charge for the points & inlays of this cue.
