I have A 2008 rosewood & maple butterfly conv. cue with 2 veneers built flawlessly by Andy Gilbert. It has a genuine elephant ear wrap done perfectly by Ernie G. A 3/8x10 pin with an ivory joint accented by a beauty ring. An ivory Hoppe ring & 2 matching, like new 13mm. shafts.
This cue is 58" & weighs around 18.5oz.

A custom made one of a kind Carolina Custom Hoppe style cue. It’s got 4 ebony points with white, black, white, and black veneers. The butt sleeve is also ebony and has an ivory hoppe ring. The wrap is textured black leather. The forearm is curly maple. There is a silver ring at the joint that matches the predator ring. The joint is ivory over phenolic (for strength) with a piloted 5/16 X 14 steel pin. All inlays in the cue are mother of pearl and there is one notched diamond in each of the points in the forearm, and four sets of notched diamond barbells as well as four notched diamonds in the butt sleeve. The cue is a bumper- less hoppe. Weight of the butt is 15 oz and both shafts weigh in at a whopping 4.2 oz each. Both shafts have LBM ferrules with Everest tips. One shaft is completely unused and the other was test hit. (Most of the action this cue has seen was with a predator shaft). There is a custom made set of joint protectors that matches the cue as well. They have matching ring work in ebony; they are made of curly maple with ebony tops and mother of pearl notched diamonds. This elegant, well balanced player can be yours for only SOLD.
