From Gold Crown I to V what are the major differences? Which would you say was the best of the series and why?

That's a long answer:grin: but in working on Gold Crowns for over 26 years, I can safely say that the GC5 is the best built in the line of GC's.

All the gold crowns are great tables IMO. The 3's seems to be the least desirable, and cheapest. Gold crowns are like pizza, even bad pizza is good pizza. (assuming you get a good mechanic to set it up)

Thanks for the quick response guys. I'm lucky because there are several GC's for sale in this area. Sounds like the GC V is the one to buy.

The Gold Crown 5 would be the best purchase for sure, but good luck finding a used one and if you do, it will be pricey.

My suggestion would be to look for a late model GC I or GC II. Should be able to find one of these for about $800 to $2000.

Here is a comparison document I was given. It lays out the differences of the Gold Crown series I - IV.
