A fine example of Chuck's work; a 1920's Rosewood house cue conversion, including the shaft. This cue has had very light play -- easily 95+%.

Specs are as follows:

- 57 1/8" long
- Butt: 14.4 ounces
- Shaft: 4.2 ounces, 13mm, Elkhorn, Moori
- Joint: Signature Wood pin, Elkhorn sleeved joint, Black Phenolic with
White Accent Rings
- Buttcap: Black Phenolic with White Hoppe Style Accent Ring

The points are even on this cue. Balance point is right at 18" from the buttend. A very nice player -- stiff hitting cue

also curious about the taper - if it's stronger than a pro-taper, would it double as a 3C cue?

edit - by also, I meant I too would like to know the balance point; like Al.

Sorry, if I forgot to mention the balance point on this cue is 18" from the buttend.

I'm not sure how to describe the taper (Chuck might be able to tell us more) but, it seems to move the balls around the table with little effort

This cue is a very nice hitting cue. Good luck with your sale Ken.

I owned a really nice Starkey and have hit with two others.

They all played really nice!!

unusual taper

best way to describe the taper is a " modified conical ". i cut the shaft to a conical taper then sand until i'm happy with the way it hits the ball.
no 2 are ever the same, one shaft for one butt.
might be weird but it works for me.
thank you chuck

Looking for a new home.......

Anybody that is looking for a stiff hitting cue -- this might fit the bill!?

I couldn't even imagine how good a cue could play until I got one of Chuck's conversion cues. They are incredible.

This is a real nice one -- no disappointments here whatsoever :)

Make me a resonable offer.....I need to move some wood to make room for a new fullsplice from -R-
