Looks nice. Do you have the router bit aligned perfectly parallel to the lathe centerline? Or do you have it tilted a bit on purpose like you would a boring bar?

yes, compound is turned just a few degrees,
so that only the leading edge of the bit is hitting
you may be able to see that in the first vid
i did make the mistake of having it straight on, the first times i tried this
it aint good!! and could be very dangerous
so, if anyone else considers this method of boring,
be careful
oh, one more thing,
make sure the gibbs are tight , if too loose, just the vibration of the router will can move your setting
(i know from experience, a rather bad experience )
