Terrible start for 2010 - 01-02-2010, 09:23 AM

1. My warranty is up on my Camry and I am looking at expensive repairs.

2. My wife fired my girl friend as our maid after apparently catching her stealing. I am broken-hearted.

3. My wife and I have been fighting since. New Years Day
and continuing into her birthday today.

4. WVU hammered by Florida St. Stewart outcoached again.

5. Previously undefeated WVU hammered by Purdue.

6. I've been destroyed the last two times on table even up by some guy I used to give two balls to.

7. No money for DCC.

8. My youngest has dropped out of college.

Poor me. I'm ENTITLED to better.

2010 is off to a bad start!

My wife's birthday is today too! I took my Chevy S10 in for a tune-up and radiator flush and ended up spending $1510.73, OUCH!!! It will get better.

Nasty post.

I'd rather ride off into the sunset with Roy singing " Happy Trails."

I'm sorry for your misfortune ... but I find a certain irony that a man who has made quite a history out of bemoaning how poor and oppressed they are turns out to be able to afford a servant/concubine on their meager gubmint pension.

I'm curious if you have been paying all of the appropriate taxes on their services, such as social security and unemployment benefits as well as health care?

Whenever I feel like nothing is going my way, I always think of that scene in the Wizard of Oz when they get out of the woods and into the poppy fields....

You're out of the wood, you're out of the dark, and into the light....... Meanwhile the W.W.W. is plotting with her flying monkeys....."Poppies, Poppies"

Incidently, I for one hope you haven't been paying taxes and whatnot for her employment, F.T.G! they get enough of your money.

Hope there's sunshine and bunnies in your future...... With all the bunnies hopping around at least you won't go hungry......

Where's my Hossenfeffer?!

I can certainly understand that sentiment.

What concerns me, however, is when someone has been on a lifelong rant about how others ... many making smaller salaries and supping far less from the gubmint teat ... don't pay "THEIR FAIR SHARE" of taxes.

I'm sure you would agree that when someone takes such a condemning approach towards another citizen, one wanting to keep the wealth that they have created, that such an argument should be backed up with the accusing party gladly paying "THEIR FAIR SHARE" as determined by the state ... and to do it without either quarrel, qualm, nor hesitation.

I think everyone should practice tax avoidance. I do not advocate breaking the law unless you are willing and able to face the consequences if caught.

That being said, the less money the gov't takes the better I like it regardless of the ideology spouted by the taxpayer.

Actions speak louder than words. Words not backed by action is posturing, or being what can be refered to as a stuffed shirt (we all know how disappointing that can be) or a blowhard.

Let me get this straight... She fired her for stealing??? The fact that she polished more knobs than just the door knobs in the house wasn't a concern? If that's the case... I need a WV wife. Just go out and get youa newer shinier model of a maid. Problem solved.

Time to get real and hear it coming straight from the mouths of Muslims.
