What kind of vehicle do you use for pool table jobs? What are the things you like or dislike about it? Feel free to add pics of interior and exterior. Any cool modifications you have made to make the job easier?

Hey Jack,
I drive a Ford E-350 15 passenger van with the seats out. I do this for a few reasons. I spend half my day in the van so having the interior insulated for sound saves me from headaches. I also like the fact the interior is all carpet. It has plenty of room for two tables. And it doesn't drive like a cargo van. It has the 5.4 motor and gets 14mpg.

My last van had 359,000 on it before the tranny went. Sure am glad it waited for us to get back form Alsip before going. I will take some pics when the weather is a little nicer.

I just drive a regular E-150. 2006 with almost 150k miles on it already. It's a little small when moving 9 footers, and for moves like pool table plus air hockey plus ping pong top. Drives great though. So far I've been very happy.

Same deal, I'll get a couple pictures when the ice melts off of it. ;)

I've also got an old Chevy G-20 van with the extended cargo area. I liked that one for the space, but since it was old and rusted it didn't look very professional. Now It's got some feul problems I can't figure out, so for the time being, it's parked.

Sometime in the near future, I plan on adding a 15-18ft box truck with a ramp and an enclosed trailer to the "fleet" for the bigger jobs and multiple table deliveries.

plenty of room to sleep in that baby,

I'll take my caravan for single table sales over anything

only problem with dvd's is that once you sell some everyone duplicates them, thus reducing the sales expected and deserved. Sad really

I drive a sprinter van by Mercedes. The nice thing about these vans is you can stand up and walk front to back. Lots of custom shelving available.180k and no major repairs and the diesel knocks down 25mpg. They also sell them under the dodge and freightliner name.

As most of you know, I drive a 2002 E550 24ft box truck rated at 19,000 GVWR and tow an 18ft trailer rated at 6,500lbs. This is the most comfortable vehicle I've ever rode around the country in. It's my home, my workshop, and my cargo carrier. I have enough room in it to carry everything I need to take with me, plus 2 more mechanics on the road with me, and have plenty of room for them to sleep as well:D

Give it up. That Peter-B is you man.
Just think of the shop you could have in the back of that puppy - and tote a bunch more tables. :D
