I personally am getting tired of the THREAD:

Ripped off by a guy named Rocinante on the forum (please read), and would like to propose Buyers of stuff off this Forum. List the Honest Sellers, or Someone you bought from and the Experience was positive.

I know most seller are good people, but the bad people seem to get all the attention.

Who would you Buy from AGAIN? Because of a Positive Experience....? Including Cue Makers....& Ratailers

I will list Cuemakers John "Jack" Madden first, as I have had several dealing with him. ALL POSITIVE.....

Plus Mueller & Seyberts for Retailers... ;)

Think we got enough NEGATIVE STUFF going on, how about a Positive THREAD....

;)

In no particular order, I have had great experiences buying from all of the following:
Deno Andrews
Mike Templeton
Gary Nolan (bushwhacker)
xxxxxxxx
Chris (bogey54311)
Chad McDaniel (shorty)
JW Petree (PetreeCues)

Currently, I am doing a deal with 1pRoscoe and I expect it to work great also.

ScottR and Bruce immediately come to mind as well as Sherwin Chang, Erik Lee, Hunter, Ross, Matthew Staton, Jazz, jazznpool, mattntorrence....pretty much safe to say I have been fortunate enough to have more good experiences than bad.

As far as cuemakers, I would recommend Bill Schick and Arnot Wadsworth.

Whitten is the best casemaker I have dealt with personally...but I love my Porpers.

As far as repairs and custom mods, I have done business with Bill Cody, Joe Ezell, and Greg Colvert. All straight up good guys.

Just remember, if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck...it's probably a DUCK!

seyberts is good, think I brought some stuff from billiards warehouse that showed up quickly. Have brought a few cues from www.cuestore.com without issue, but I always feel uneasy about it for some reason. Cues got to me quickly though, and always well packaged.

Sold a few cues to Jazz on here without any problems. Brought one from duke that arrived quickly, but missing the weight bolts (would like to point out that he didn't tell me he was going to ship the weight bolts with the cue, it was an assumption on my part). Not a big deal so wouldn't tell you not to buy from him. He ships the cues as stated and does it quickly which is always a plus.

I know Rsb-refugee and wouldn't hesitate to buy or sell from Him.

Rsb-refugee even gave me some fiber pads for a tips that he went out of his way to deliver. Very nice guy.

There are quite a few on here I'd buy from without hesitation, list would include, but not be limited to, bushwacker, shorty, roscoe, and most of the dealers.

Cuemakers that post on here that I have brought from are Dzcues and Bob Griffin, would buy from Mike Webb, Jack Madden, Joel Hereck, and Blud to name a few.

I would have to say shortie ,matthew staton,Zeeder.eric lee, boogie, just a few good ones I don't no lot of the other ones yet. just a few I would trust to do business right off the bat with....

I want to add Zeeder/Rackin Zac, Hunter and Koop to the list. Although I have not bought from them, others have with positive results. And, they have all been very helpful by giving me advice when I am buying.

Also, Michael Webb has been helping me locate 5/16-14 acme thread joint protectors for one of my cues.

Thanks, guys!

I won't repeat any names but I will add Koop to the list. Great communication and just a hell of a guy.

I would not even hesitate, to do business with Cubswin. I look forward to meeting scruggsinhand, Satman, and Williebetmore, sometime in the future.

I only wish I had more disposable income, so I could buy a cue from each of the cuemakers on this board. I could then give them good recomendations from first hand experience. Imagine a cue from each,

Bill Webb
Chris Hightower
Dennis Searing
Dickie Neighbors
James White
Joel Hercek
Kerry Zyler
Leonard "Blud" Bludworth
"Mad" Bob Griffin
Mark Bear
Mike Webb
Murray Tucker
Paul Fanelli
Sheldon Lebow
Sherm Adamson
Ted Harris
Tom Penrose

That does not include all of the anonymous ones, there's no telling who may be in that group. What a nice collection that would make.

Tom, Before you get your nose out of joint, the list is in alphabetical order and has nothing to do with, how I would rate any of its occupants. :)

Retailers:
Seyberts...Sir Joseph gloves
Muellers...assorted accessories, both pool & dart
Hawleys...Falcon J/B cue, 3 Instroke Premier cases
On the Hill...2 cues...Espiritu & Jacoby
Jacoby Custom Cues...Cue
Classic Cues...Skip Weston

People that I have bought things off of from the board and would deal with again are Shorty, MarkCobb, and Chad Carter. Others that I have met in person or had enough communication that I would be happy to deal with are Williebetmore, Zeeder, ken4fun and ZimsRack. I am sure Im missing some but these are the first ones to come to mind.

I have been lucky enough to have several good dealings on ebay, but one that I would have to list on his own would be neilsens billiards (joerackem).

And as always, I give a BIG recommendation for Bob Griffin of Madison Bob's cues.

See there are good Sellers.... ;)

Yep. Most are good. Unfortunately, one bad one can cause a lot of turmoil and distrust.

The ones that come on this forum that I have done business with are (if we were giving Ebay-style ratings) :

Chris Hightower A+++ (Hightower from Burton Spain F/S blank)

Roy at IndyQ A+++(Tim Scruggs 4-point)

Lamar25 A+++ (Tim Scruggs 6-point)

Steve Lomax A+++ (Bunjee XP-5)

I've been really lucky, I guess...I haven't had a problem with sellers. I've had a couple of cues stolen over the years, all by people that I thought were my friends so I loaned cues to them....there was a lesson to be learned with that.
