Hello to all, as of this day, I'm back designing and building new mechanical and CNC CUE machinery. I'm also building cues. I have several cues on order.
I haven't done much over the last 4 or 5 years. Janice passed and just didn't have to get up and go for a spell.
Now, I'm back, to build cues and cue machinery.
I have remarried, and very happy, my wife's name is Suzanne. She was with me in Valley Forge [ march 2008] when the American Cue Makers Association presented me and my late wife Janice with an appreciation award for being the Founders of the ACA. Some of you got to meet Suzanne there.
We still own a steak house here in Leakey, Texas. It's doing great.

So now,
I have the desire to get back at the cue and machinery business.

I'm coming out of the gate with a new single head CNC saw profiler. It will only take up about 4 sq. ft. in your shop. It's vertical and will be 3 axes, rmp control, feed speed control, and of course, Z for profiling.

Thanks a lot, Dave, How have you been?
Come on down this summer and a steak is on me. Visit my shop and steak house. we have a beer garden out back with live music, and Texas girls dancing, about 2 times a month during the spring and summers month's.

Hey Chris, yes, I finished the house, didn't want to live there by myself, and 4,260ft. was a little big for just me, so, I sold it and 12 acres of land, I,met Suzanne and we got married dec.1st-07 happy as all get out. Call me when you can, 830-275-0302 and my new e-mail is

Welcome back Leonard. Glad to hear you are back at it. Sherry and I would still like to take you up on that steak and a beer. I think it's your turn to buy isn't it?

Welcome back Leonard. It was good catching up with you on the phone yesterday. Your new machine sounds like it will really be nice. My four head saw machine you built is still cutting away.

Thanks Chris, it was nice to sort-a-catch up. it's been to long. The new machine will be killer, profile all parts, butts, shafts, [up to 31"] handle stock and an arbor for turn cutting up to 5 butt sleves at the same time.
I'm really pleased to hear that your saw, that I built you is doing great. I hope to get to georgia soon and see all your new toys. I'm also working on another new CNC inlay, parts and pocket machine..I'll let you know when it's done. It will be a bench top machine..single head, and can have a profiling head [ saw] added to it..if someone wants one built as a dual machine.

Haven't heard from you for a long spell. Suzanne and I, are doing great, steak house is packed friday and saturday nights, our new Bar-B-q shack is doing great also. We just want to sell out, relax and build more cues, ball cleaners and new machines. How far are you back ordered?
I now have around 35 sure nuff orders for cues, and 2 machines on order.
You might come down and help me when you have time..Hee Hee, [who has time] , not me and I'm sure you don't either.

Thought we had lost you to the steak house for good ... :p ...
And your timing is perfect.
I have just laid in a stockpile of 1" maple dowels for this summer's work and a CNC shaper machine like you are describing would be a good match.
Dont have a lot of room in my shop but it sounds like it would fit right in.
I know what you make is industrial grade and will most likely out last me so I am very interested in getting one of those machines.
Please ... let me know when you have one ready.
I will be finishing up my contract work sometime in April or May and I could stop and pick it up on my way home.

Willie, I'll have one ready within a few short weeks, [4 to 5 weeks], then I'll be building my new inlay, parts and pocket CNC machine. I'll have a cost down in a few days, and will let you know then.

Hey ,Blud ... Glad your back in the saddle again ... I came with Willee to your place before the big house was completed , also steered you to a golf game at the old Galaxey in S.A. a while back against the Torch , where's my jelly ... Willee and I would like to come and see you and patronize your eating establishments ... Glad you got remarried , such a personality and talent should not go to waste and you know she is happy for you ... well you take care and hope to see you sometime soon ... Where you live is so beautiful ... Fair the well whatever you do ...:cool:
