I have a very, very nice condition Tim Scruggs sneaky that was just refinished by Steve Lomax, and is in exceptional condition. This is about the fanciest early Scruggs sneaky that I have ever seen. It has the white phenolic joint, black joint collars and butt cap, and triple rings above the butt cap. The "TS" logo is between the points, which dates it as an earlier cue. The ferrule is ivory. The cue is an exceptional cue. The shaft is dark, dense old wood. The shaft has the slightest of a taper roll...very minor and you may not see it, but I will mention it for the sake of total disclosure.
Scruggs cues, especially these sneaky players, are always in demand. With the recent passing of Mike Cochran, they are going to become even harder to find.
Specifications:
-Butt: 14.8oz
-Shaft: 4.2oz, 12.9mm, ivory ferrule, triangle tip
-5/16x14 piloted white phenolic joint
-Black phenolic joint collars
-Straight-grained maple forearm
-Body and points of light rosewood. Points are just about dead-nuts even...some of the best I have seen in a sneaky.
-Triple veneer rings above the butt cap of natural/black/natural
-Black phenolic butt cap
-"TS" logo stamped between the points
SOLD, pending receipt of payment
