Carmeli 4 point rosewood hoppe offer - On Sale!
This is a 7-07 Carmeli 4 point rosewood into super hard curly maple hoppe style player's cue. The condition of the cue is at/around 92%. There are a couple slight dings in the finish around the edge of the butt that can be seen in the pics further down the page.
Stats:
Butt is 14.6oz, shaft 1 is 3.55oz, and shaft 2 is 3.9oz. 18.15oz total with shaft 1. 18.5oz total with shaft 2.
Butt is 29 5/16", shaft 1 is 28 1/2", and shaft 2 is 29 5/16".
Shaft 1 has a 1/4" LBM ferrule with a 12mm very well broken in sniper tip.
Shaft 2 has a 1" LBM ferrule with a 13mm brand new triangle tip.
Balance point with shaft 1 is 19" and 19 1/4" with shaft 2.
The pics below were taken in 2008 when I got it back from Ryan after the wrap was put on and the shaft was modified:
This is most definitely a player's cue. A few AZ members have hit with this cue and really enjoyed it. I wouldn't compare it to any other cue... but it definitely ranks in the top 2 for my personal taste. The only other cue I've hit with that I thought felt as good or possibly better was krbsailing's steel-jointed scruggs (and I shot with most of his cues at the time). I'm posting it up for sale because I prefer LD shafts and have to make room for a cue in the works.
This one will be shipped in an action 2x2. $900 OBO
Accepted a partial trade offer. Cue is sold unless something falls through.
