What's the biggest package you've ever run?

I don't know if this has ever been asked, but how many racks have you put together. I'm talking about break and runs in 9 or 10 ball. Tell us which game you were playing, the size of the table, and if it was practice, gambling, or a tournament.

I've ran a four pack in 9 ball and missed the 10 for a three in 10 ball. Both were practicing on a 9 ft Diamond.

I am just curious to hear some of the accomplishments of others here.

I'm still working on my game, but I ran 2 in a row the other day, missed a shot in on the third game, ran it out, and ran the fourth game down to the 9 where I missed. It my defense, the last shot was really hard to shoot because I had my hands squeezing firmly around my throat.

one, maybe two . . .

Funny thing, I've never tried to string break and runs in my life. Wins yes, I won hundreds of games in a row one night. Gotta let other folks shoot some too though.

all are on the bar table, 6 playing 9 ball, 4 playing 8 ball, and 6 playing 10 ball, on a gold crown IV 9ft i have ran 3 playing 9 ball

4 pack in 9ball, 3 pack in 8ball.......both in competition....didn't realize either of them until someone else pointed it out.....it was kewl....been a long time though....

4 in 8-ball on 8ft., 3 on 9ft., 5 in 9-ball on 9ft., 3 in 10-ball on 9ft.

Some in practice and some in touneys and league!!

3-pack in 8b, 3-pack in 9b, both playing with buddies. I come up dry on the 4th break every single time, to the point where it's almost funny. BUT IT'S NOT.

Slapped together a four pack on an 8 foot Olhausen in 9 ball a couple years ago. One of the racks was an easy out though. After the break the 1 and 9 were lined up dead into the pocket for an easy combo. So maybe I'll call it a 3 1/2 pack ;)

I made for balls off the break one time and ran out then made it two times on the snap. I really need to practice more.

I put up six in a row one night practicing on a 5x9 playing nine-ball. I ran five racks of eight-ball in my cellar giving a student a lesson. The crazy true part of the story is, I told him, "I'm not much of an eight-ball player."

What I was able to do for many years in tournaments, in a race to nine, was guarantee my opponent wouldn't shoot for three racks, at some given point, of the match.

Id be interested to know what some of the pros who post and lurk on here have done. Like perhaps
SVB, Schmitty, Hatch, Shuff, Oscar, Daz, Harriman, etc would chime in.

It's been a LOONG time...

but BB 8ball, B&R 5, switched tables for next opponent and B&R 5 more..
I count it as my own little 10 pack... others may view it as less or more
IDC.... Funny thing is, in the moment I was aware of the score
each time (barely) but really had zero conception of not missing. "Unconscious".....!!! I've been trying to get back there for a loooong time!! Not sure I'll ever top that again.

Recently... best was GC9, with a house cue playing ghost, ran 6 and missed a "gimme" on the 7 for the 7th.....

Broke and ran 3 8 ball racks in practice on an 8 footer, the guy I was practicing with got pissed and got his own table.

Ran an empty 8 ball rack and then broke and ran 2 more on an 8 foot to win a tournament. The funny thing was, I had no idea I did it until my opponent mentioned that I ran 3 racks on him.

Never managed to get past 2 in 9 ball, but I've come close a half dozen times or so.
