Dennis is finishing a beautiful cue that Mike Cochran didn't have time to finish
The cue will have the logo of Mike Cochran,Tim Scruggs and Dennis Searing.3 of the all time greats,This cue was almost finished by Mike Cochran and Tim Scruggs sent it to me to sell for Connie Cochran

the cue is very fancy,Balabushka inspired,ebony 4 points into maple with mother of pearl inlays and rings,ivory joint,ferrules,and butt

What will it play like?only you will have the priveledge of knowing,its bound to be a great investment with all the memories of mike,tim,and dennis.and best of all your payment goes to Mikes Widow,so you can feel goog about something

Ron Haley fans

Ron is finishing one of Mike Cochran/Tim Scruggs last cues,unfinished and in tims shop when Mike passed away

Ron was seleccted for the project and volunteered his work to make this a wonderful piece of cue making history,

Unique,beautiful and proceeds going to Mikes widow

THE SEARING<COCHRAN<SCRUGGS CUE has already been sold

Aside from the generous side of this,it goes to show how much confidence there is in the work of Dernnis Searing

Now that the cue is sold I find myself wondering what this cue will play like,I know that many of us will only wonder

The Haley and the southwest versions are still for sale,please feel free to call and discuss those 2 cues that were unfinished by mike at the time of his passing

Both of these cues will make someone the envy of the rest of us

One of a kind...

I know that Mike has passed on. The last time I spoke to Mike (while visiting the Scruggs shop early last year)...he had mentioned that Tim still came into the shop from time to time to do some work however he was toying with the ideal of retirement. So has Tim retired thus the reason for Dennis and Ron stepping in?

Just asking the question...not trying to be disrespectful on this thread.

Tim has not told me about his future plans,I hope he continues making cues for years to come,we will have to wait and see.These cues are the last of the Tim Scruggs?Mike Cochran cues,and what great cues they are

Here is the cue that Mike was working on for Dean. It came out great. Dennis did a fantastic job finishing it up. More pics and details to follow.

What Dennis did is so special. Thanks to Dennis Searing for making this cue such a nice tribute to Mike. Thanks for sharing. p.s. I can't wait to see what Ron Haley's joint protectors will look like. I will post pictures when i get the cue.

Dennis did a great job on this, and the tribute engraving is wonderful. He was telling me about this cue, and I could tell it meant a lot to him.
This is a piece that will stand out for the ages.

This cue is absolutely one of my favorite cues of all time. The cue flows like perfect and the cue from end to end is awesome. A fine tribute to Mike and his family.

Dennis finished the cue with such attention to detail and with such respect for Mike...it truly is a one of a kind cue.

Glad to know that so many people came together and helped Connie in a time of need.

It just occurred to me......

Can't wait to see the Haley and SW cues!

How great would it be to have pics of all three together?
