Yes, I said POOL CUE. Someone, Somewhere, Sometime, Somehow along the way converted the classic Ron Kilby 3 Cushion cue to a Pool Cue, complete with Radial Pin and Pro Taper shaft.
The shaft may not be original. It is impossible to tell if the tenon was cut off and the Radial Pin thread drilled, bored, and threaded into the remaining maple.
The conversion was DEFINITELY done by a Professional!
The butt however, shows where the original threaded tenon was glued into the butt, then the Radial Pin installed.
All in All .... A very nice job, resulting in a lovely pool cue.
The cue is full spliced cocobolo (I think) into maple forearm. There are natural fiber rings on the butt at the joint and the butt cap. The "RK" decal is barely visible on the butt cap (See photo).
Both Butt and Shaft are 29" long yielding a 58" cue.
Butt weighs 1# 0.5 ounces, shaft weighs 3.6 ounces, yielding a total cue weight of 20.1 ounces.
The cue is used and shows signs of wear, but is in very good condition.
$250.00 shipped ConUS.
