just want to share this one, the latest progress on my shop. As usual nothing is fancy, let the wood speaks for itself..
Wrapless Amboyna burl into Gaboon ebony with 5 points and 5 box designs on the buttsleeve.
And the other was my first fullbuttersplice in Philippine ebony and Narra combination..sorry for the background:grin:, was in a hurry to get those pics..

Wow. I really like the Amboyna cue. The figure of that wood is killer. The swirl almost looks like it's on fire. Very nice.

Thanks for the kind words. The figure of the wood is awesome. its like a suns surface.:)..I called it the Beauty of Nature

Nice. The points at the bottom of the splice look pretty sharp. I have seen your posts before and wonder if this was cut by hand too?

Is the butterfly for sale?

Yes, the fullbuttersplice is for sale, both cues has no owner yet. since it has not yet finish.

Al the Cue in the bottom of the photo is unique, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the compliments, Coco. Just want to try something new, and come up with this unique style. I'm looking forward for some upgrade on this fullbuttersplice, maybe another combination of woods, i'm thinking of amboyna burl into ebony with some additional of veneers. Lets just see what will happen next.....

Thanks for the words, really appreciate it. yes it was cut by hand. lots of patience and execution needed to ensure that points will look sharp. As much as possible i want it clean and flawless. And i did my best to achieve it..and really happy to the result..:)

Thanks to all,
Al

Thanks for the kind words, kevin. Your suggestion is good. But the owner would prefer to have it a 3/8 x 11 pin.

Who knows maybe your next, with a black G10 pin.

Thanks,
Al

I was the lucky winner of this raffle below.

I can not talk this cue up enough. Everyone that I let shoot with it loves it too. It has taken the place of my cognoscenti as my everyday player while I'm waiting to have one of my shafts turned down. I'm not even positive that I will switch back once my cog is back in my hands.

It plays better than my old Ray Schuler and better than my thick shaft cog. Do yourself a favor and jump on one of these. You will be pleasantly surprised.

If I decide to switch to this cue I will sell my cog. If I decide to stick with the cog, this cue will not be up for sale. I think that says something about the value proposition of one of these cues...
