Oh yea. Larry is building some cutting edge designs. Check out this cue;

This cue is extensively finger jointed, in both directions. The butterfly design is carried on the finger jointing itself. 8 premium woods were used in it's construction.

It sure isn't your grand papa's old Palmer...

My comment applies to the first cue.
The second cue is IMO, far too 'busy'.
Sometimes, you have to know when to say, "enough is enough".

Yep, that happens from time to time. The second cue is from my personal Thompson stash and not for sale. While maybe too busy for some, if you look closely, you can appreciate the amount of work that went into this particular cue. The finger jointing runs in both directions in each section of the cue (forearm, butt sleeve, grip area). The butterfly design is carried thru the individual finger splice's. It would be far easier to run the finger joints in one direction but take a closer look;

I have sold about 2 dozen Thompson's locally. Up until now, you had to "know somebody" to get a Thompson cue. But, I guess everybody has been there at one point in their career...

I really like that second cue. Good thing we all have different tastes or it would be oats for breakfast every day. GL with sale.

i have a thomspn with 2 shafts about 6 to 7 years old, r u interested--rugerfan--???

the cue has fiddleback maple and rosewood in his original 'curly-cue' design. the joint is zebrawood and the joints and ferrules are as well.

e-mail me at michaelkennedy_1@yahoo.com

or call me at 727-277-9853

also, the cue has elk antler section about 4 inches long in the butt times two, window pane style. beautiful cue, like to find another appreciator of thompson cue artistry.

Is Larry related to Bob Thompson?.

They both use wood ferrules. Great looking cues.

Macassar ebony ferrule. This cue is getting dangerously close to going in my personal collection...

Awesome cue!

Larry is Bob's son and he is adding some of his personal touch in the cue design. Is that Thompson one of your personal cue's?

I have quite a few Thompson custom's available. To have a look, email me at;

That's great. Both of these guys make incredible cues. Good luck with your sale. I have two new cues of Bob's. Rod.

I have 4 or 5, I can't keep track anymore. They all play great. solid hit but you have really good cue ball feel.

Can't go wrong here and the price is more than right. These turn heads.
