Rare Richard Harris Blue Grass house cue conversion

For sale is a rare house cue conversion done by Richard Harris back in 1991 (the second year of cue production by Richard). Signed Blue Grass Cues under the bumper.

Specs:

Butt: House cue conversion with a maple forearm and what looks like a rosewood species wood in the points and butt sleeve. Brown phenolic butt cap and flat faced phenolic joint. Butt rolls good. No dents, dings or scratches.

Shafts:

1) One original shaft that is 12.9mm with melamine ferrule and Kamui medium tip. Has a little roll both together and apart.

2). Second shaft brand new and test hit by Richard only. 13.1mm with micarta ferrule and Kamui medium tip. Rolls straight both together and apart.

Weight: Old shaft is 103 grams (3.63 oz). New shaft is 108 grams (3.81 oz) Butt weighs 444 grams (15.66 oz). Total weight is 19.29 oz with old shaft, 19.47 oz with new shaft.

Wrap: New cork wrap installed by Richard.

Joint: Flat faced phenolic, 3/8"-11 tpi brass pin

Standard length of 58"

Butt and Points are surely no cocobolo. Looks like a lighter Rosewood to me.
I´m interessted in the shaft-weights and maybe a close-up pic from the shaft-wood to see the ring-grain.
 
I would say you are probably right on the wood being some sort of rosewood. I do know it's a real old house cue that's probably close to 40 old. I also added a picture of the grain on the shafts. Real tight grain on the old original shaft! Weighs coming later today.

was the butt refinished as well? Looks really clean for a cue built in 91
 
Bump for the late nighters and west coast crowd! I would like to move this cue by this weekend. Keep those offers coming...I might just take one! :)
