FS ***Kikel, Meucci, Bruce, Thomas/Showman, Glover, Baretta*** PRICE DROP
Hi All
i have for sale my collection of players, all of which are pictured except the Meucci (photos to come)
1 Ball:Tony Glover No1: (2005) $1200
This is the first and only (1of2) American cues that Tony has Made. It was inspired and based on a design (segmented handle) by Harvey Martin (cuezilla.com) Tony used numerous woods including Snakewood, Tiger Maple, Amboya Burl and others to create a forearm with multiple butterfly splices into each other, a plain ebony and burl butt with an antique leather wrap. 1 maple shaft.
To set this cue off, from the same cut of leather, a custom made 1x1 box case was made with brass hinges and brass corner/ end protectors.
2 Ball: Tony Glover No2: (2007) $1650
Custom built (2of2), to a design and order I placed in 2007, it took Tony 6 months to make and is a visually stunning cue. At its core from a 60 inch plank, of very highly figured curly tiger maple. With 16 intersecting / opposing butterfly splices made from snakewood, Mexican kingwood,Amboya Burl. The shaft is made entirely from the same plank of CTM and is set of by 2 titanium radial pins.
(please note in the photo the cues second joint had been loosened for a different photo, the butterflies all line up perfectly!)
Tony Glover is considered by many to be one of the top cue makers in the country choosing to make his cues by hand – including the turning down process and has supplied cues to a host of top snooker stars, with perhaps the most famous being Stephen Hendry. Order time from him on a custom build is approximately 6 months and the cases are no longer available.
