What time does this tournament start on Saturday and Sunday?
I may want to drop by. ;)
 
Player's Meeting is at 11:00

I believe the room opens at 10:00 on Saturday. We start play as soon as possible after the meeting. Players have to be signed up by 11:00

Sunday we try to bring back the final 8? It depends on the size of the field. It also starts at 11:00 usually (that one can change based on how many return).

Last tournament we also had a second chance tournament on Sunday too! Nicole Vincent was the winner!

Thank you very much for posting this early so I can plan the trip. I live in North Jersey and would love to see a tournament like this for the first time.

Is there anywhere I can see the field and players that will be participating? Also will anybody else from AZ be there? It would be nice to put some faces to a name.

It's a tough call to say who will be there for sure. If you go to our website http://www.jpnewt.com, you can see who our "regular players" are based on standings. There are definitely some "players" in that field

Given that this is a State Championship and the fact that we have over $3000 added, the WPBA touring pros are welcome and frequently come out to this event.
 
Paul, if you think you would like to see some of the best female pool players on the east coast, stop by.
You never know what AZB'ers will be there to watch along with you.

I appreciate you "guys" posting and then I don't have to just bump the thread!

It really should be a good tournament. I am hoping some of the ladies will be making use of it as a warm-up for the US Open!

We will be playing back to back weekends right before the Oklahmoma tournament. No Excuses!!!

The website says this tournament is held at Sayreville, NJ but you have South Amboy, NJ are these 2 places the same or is one a typo??????

Although everything on Primetime's web site says Sayreville, when you put the address into MapQuest it changes it to South Amboy. I believe the directions will get you to the correct place.
 
Event Cancelled!

I’m sorry to say that the JPNEWT tournament scheduled for July 17th and 18th at Primetime Billiards in New Jersey has been cancelled. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and for the short notice.


As you know, Primetime Billiards has been a longtime partner of our tour. To help cover the costs of this event, they made an agreement with a third-party sponsor. That sponsor decided today that they would not add the promised money. With such short notice, Primetime Billiards wasn’t able to raise the needed funds.


I plan to reschedule the New Jersey State Championship and will send details out as soon as I have them.


For those who have hotel reservations, please call to cancel them immediately. The Courtyard Edison has agreed to honor cancelations until 6am Friday morning, but please call as early as possible to ensure that you are not charged.


If you know of others who were planning to be there, please forward this email to them. Thanks for your support.


I hope to see everyone at our World 9-ball Qualifier at KB Billiards in Elkridge, MD, on July 24th and 25th.
