Thanks Brent! That joke was told to me by a guy that knew a friend of Rodney Dangerfield's neighbor, and he said that the line was supposed to have been used on "Caddyshack", but Tom Cruise eventually bought the rights and sold them with this cue. It was originally bought for $200 and then was kept in a vault at the Smithsonian. I'm thinking about selling it for $49,999, if you're interested...:wink:

LOL....the guy was just a little confused...

The cue was actually used in the SpongeBob movie....."The Color of Wet Money"

The cue actually belonged to Mr. Krabs.......Mr Krabs saw the talent and what a "character" SpongeBob was and decided to loan it to him and take him and Sandy on the road.

While on the road Mr Krabs taught SpongeBob the "Two Crustations" hustle and promptly removed a large chunk of coin from Mr Squidward using the hustle.

He then had Spongebob dump to Plankton...who at the time was known as "dead one eye" the best money player on sand paper.

Shortly after Mr Krabs...now getting the itch to play again got hustled by Patrick....who after said to Mr Krabs...."Do you think I need to lose some of my points??"

I was hoping to scrounge up the funds before these facts came to light, Mr. G! Now the previously uneducated public will no doubt raise the purchase price to WAY over $50K...

I did my best to bid the cue up but the auction will not accept a 12 cent bid.

Hey Brent, I was thinking about banking there, too! A really nice Nigerian prince has deposited some money in my bank account and all I have to do is give some of it back to him in advance. This just might be the ticket to allow me the funds to buy this cue!
