What are the qualifications for "Coed Beginner Singles"?
BCAPL - Chesapeake 9-Ball Challenge
The 'Coed Beginners Singles':
It is men (race to 5) and women (Race to 4) combined.
NO advanced of Master player allowed.
It is designed to encourage the 'weaker' player to participate without a high entry fee - and to have a low enough payout to discourage a good player from trying to 'hijack' the event.
There is NO ADDED $$$ to this event. (Think almost like a trophy division)
It is up to Tournament Director for final decision in case of controversy.
This is a departure from our larger events - but is necessary with smaller events.
We are trying to provide as many opportunities for players as possible.
The top finishers will not be allowed to play in a beginners event in the future.
