The Clever Set

I've thinning the herd here a little, so these two Dale Perry cues are up for sale. Both are in excellent condition.

The cue on the right is SOLD to poolfool1957

(I need to weigh this cue, but it's about 19.5 oz or so, with the larger shafts.)

The cue on the left is beautiful six point birdseye/ebony cue with 58 inlays of micarta in the ebony butt, ebony points and matching ringwork, including ringwork above and below the joint, which is very rare for a DP cue. This cue comes with two DP radial DP-R low deflection shafts (radial pie cut design, like a Predator), with the aforementioned matching ringwork (These shafts normally sell for $189 each, without the matching ringwork.). Shafts are approximately 12.7 and 12 mm and have the standard DP ferrules and tips. I need to weigh this one, but it's about 19.5 oz with the larger shaft. This cue is in great shape, with one slight ding in the forearm, and a tiny finish chip, which has been sealed, at the bottom of the butt. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200519478960

Not really looking for trades at this point, but I would go for a plain jane/ merry widow style BCM, Barnhart or Blackcreek, preferably darker woods, but might go for something else.

Thanks for checking out the ad!!

Dp cues

I want to start off by saying how much i admire these 2 prized dale perry cues. In my honest opinion this man has never been given the credit he truly deserves. He is leaps and bounds ahead of pretty much all the cue makers in existance today, well in the top 2-3 for sure. The workmanship in this cue , on the right, is beyound words i can only imagine what its like in person. Good luck w/ your sale.!!!

He builds a great cue for the money...lots better than a Chinese import. However, it is VERY doubtful that he currently ranks as the number 2-3 cuemaker in existance.

However, not to step on the seller's thread or start a "bash Dale" thread, the cue on the right is one of my personal favorite designs of Dale's.

Good luck with your sale.

Dale can make a very nice cue when he puts his mind to it. And certainly, you get a lot of cue for the money. Thanks for your comments.

I have a test hit golden oak P2 which I would trade for your DP on the right without the 12mm shaft. Let me know if interested and good luck with your sales.

Nice trade, but I'm really only interested in something like a Barnhart or Blackcreek at this point.

Thanks!
