Hello all. New member here. I used to play Billiards fairly regularly and seriously (never professionally) many, many years ago. I just recently got the urge to pick up my old cue and start shooting again and realized that the cue I used to play with over 20 years ago has become quite collectible.
According to the guys over at Meucci, I've got a six-pointed Meucci Original OL-3. They were not, however, able to tell me what a cue like this might be worth on the used market today, only that it sold in the $500-$600 range when new.
I've included some pics below and was hoping the knowledgeable members here could give me an idea of what this baby is worth. I want to start playing again but, honestly, at this point I'd just as soon sell this cue and buy something a little less expensive to get back in the game with. Plus, I could really use the extra cash!
The cue has lived in the hard case pictured with it and has not hit a ball in around 20 years. It is still straight as an arrow. I actually won it in a game (while shooting with another Meucci) and could not believe how well it played. Perfectly balanced and smooth.
Here are the pics. I truly appreciate any input. Thanks!
