Hi
My brother and I own a hardware store in Boston and we are already Freud distributors and in talks with CMT to begin carrying their products. If any of you are interested please PM with part numbers or style of bits and I will let you know the price.
Thank you
Paul

Cool.
Actually I need to know the prices of a few items. I will send you a pm.

Freud 4-wing slotters are night & day better than any other slotters I have tried and Paul has the best price bar-none. They are sharper, absolute balanced & evenly tipped, and last MUCH longer before getting dull.

I think a lot of people assume bits are bits. In woodworking, Frued, CMT, and Jessada (my favorite) are head and shoulders above the rest. Its like the difference between a custom cue and a Walmart cue.

For saw blades, Forrest is the best.

These companies sell at a premium, but you get what you pay for, especially in tools.

Some tools I buy cheap, some I buy good brands. The tools I will almost never buy cheap (for woodworking and metalworking) are: center drills, drill bits, chucks, saw blades, router bits, measuring instruments, power tools. The rationale for this selection, especially the cutting tool list, is the whole project depends on them.

Not a cuemaker, but a lifelong woodworker and metalworker hobbiest...

Hi
Right now I have in stock the following

58-108 4 wing 1/8" slot cutter
60-100 arbor adapter
04-140 3/4" straight bit

and I can get any other Freud bits you may want.
Thanks
Paul

agree

iusedtoberich - you are absolutely right about certain products, the things you listed need to be bought from the best and not cheap imports.

Joey, im left handed also, instead of trying to find left hand tools, I just turn everything upside down, scissors, knives, tennis rackets, table saws, etc etc :)

I am in total agreement with these comments. I use a Forrest Woodworker II on my Delta Table saw and it is by far the best blade I have ever used. Nice, crisp cuts.

Also, Freud to me is a ball higher than CMT, however they are both considerably better than average brands, and yes, you do get what you pay for.

I would be interested in getting some of these slot cutting bits from the OP. Please PM me for info. Thanks.
