I think the wording on this one:

"In the spirit world, all the ghosts play The Efren."

should be changed to:

"In the spirit world, ghosts play The Efren."

The "all the" portion makes the phrase sound a little redundant and doesn't really flow. Just my 2 cents. If you flip the phrase around back to it's source "in the real world, all the people play The Ghost"... doesn't sound right either, but "in the real world, people play The Ghost"...does. at least to me. anyone else?

Actually, you'd never use the phrase "all the people play the ghost" -- you'd use the phrase, "everyone plays the ghost" instead, right? Unfortunately there isn't an equivalent of "everyghost," so "all the ghosts" was used instead. The idea was that playing The Efren is such an attraction in the spirit world (as is playing the ghost in the real world) that "all the ghosts" are doing it. And like that TCOM line goes:

"Even if it is just for bangers, everybody's doing it. If everybody's doing it... There's a lot of guys doing it. A lot of guys doing it... but only one guy can be the best."​

Changing "all the ghosts" to just "ghosts" does shorten it, but it somehow loses the impact. IMHO, anyway.

Ghost Ball?!? What does this have to do with "playing the ghost"? Oh no, not another segue into the topic of aiming! Not another aiming thread! No! NO!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! <as the "I love me" straight jacket is strapped on and I'm dragged away behind two heavy iron doors, that close with a loud clang...>
