This is the story of my case being built. I love in process cases and cues, especially with a story. So here is mine. I have been fumbling around trying to get this thing ordered since last January!!! So, at last, I get this basic sketch out to John.

He was great to discuss things with and even though I'm pretty darn confident he won't put his name out there on something ugly, he offered to make a sample with pics. So, I get this in my email:

I'm not sure what I expected but WOW!!! This looks really good together.

Then, to keep my appetite wet, they sent me this:

All I can say is WOW! Thanks for helping this dream become reality and put it all together from my ideas I stole from previous cases you made John. It looks great so far and I'm chomping at the bit to see this progress.

Thanks. I'm just itching to see it in real life. I tried to get one in the daily use category, rain or shine, ya know, but this is turning out amazing.

I may have to order another snow case for when it is nasty out!!:eek:

I agree, I'm really getting interested in cases, I have awalys liked them. I still have a George 1X2 I got in 86, it looks new and has a million miles on it. I have another case that I hate but for what ever reason it's traveled with me more than any other case, a love hate thing.

JB is doing great work, I also like Cyrex and his colored cases, then the tattoo look the other guys are doing. Cases are becoming a sub culture to cue collecting
 
This was mentioned before, got voted down but I changed my mind and think a case forum is in order now wit so many new cases, it would be a nice expansion for AZB:smile:
 
How about we call this case Details? You certainly have not left any uncovered. I can see why you are the go to guy in your profession Nate. Through our process on this case I am rethinking how I take and handle orders.

I am back now and we should get this puppy finished in the next couple days at best.

It would be a good addition. I wonder if it would be still strong after a year or so. Maybe with some of the regular work I see being posted up, always pushing the envelope!!
