Fellas, as much as I enjoy handcrafting a fine pool cue from raw materials the time has come to hang it up and let the more skilled craftsmen carry on.

WilleeCue is for sale in its entirety as a package deal only.
This is not a fire sale and I will not break it apart.
Pickup only ... just too much to ship.

Unique CueMaker Lathe
Unique Taper/Shaper
Unique CueMonster CNC machine w/ programs
Grizzly 9249 metal lathe w/ 6 jaw chuck
Hightower Deluxe CueSmith (no taper bar - has many added accessory's).
Performax drum sander
Craftsman 15" bandsaw
Craftsman dust collector
2 - VidMar style blueprint cabinets
Spray booth and spray equipment.
Wood, plastic, inlay materials, ferrules, tips, rings, bumpers, rods of material, and other small items too numerous to mention.
Cue wood, lots of shaft wood.
All the benches to sit the equipment on.

All the equipment has extra tooling for cue making that I have added over the years.

If you have $15K to invest in a complete turnkey cue shop and are interested ... call me and I can describe more in detail what all is included.

Don't currently have 15K but if you end up breaking it apart I may well be interested in a few things (shaft taper machine is most important to me).

I'm in Long Island, so pick-up is also difficult for me...

Sorry to see you go. Best of luck in your new endeavors!

No ... I wont be breaking it apart ... it goes as a package or it stays.

Also Shipping is not an option.
Packaging and the risk of damage is more than I want to take on.
Way too much stuff and I doubt anyone would buy it all sight unseen.
They can bring a truck and load it all up when they come to see it.
A serious buyer will have no problems with that.

Anyhow ... it isn't sold yet and until it is ... I will still be making and repairing cues.

Will,

DARN it!! I sure have learned a lot from you and your common sense outlook on some problems. I hope you change your mind, but if not, I will miss seeing you around here.

Hope the sale goes well.

Gary

Willee,

Sorry to hear, but wish you the best in whatever path you take. Thank you for your input, good luck with the sale. If there's anything I can help with don't hesitate.

Great price

I've visited William's shop and this is a super buy for someone who wants a shop ready to make cues.

Good luck, hope this is what you really want.

Hey Will. I saw another guy take a video of his shop and post it on youtube as a method of picturing and describing the many items that he was selling. If you have a video camera and the time, you may want to give that a try. Good luck. :)

go to your local highschool and offer it as a school project the kids get a grade you get a video wont cost you anything but a few colas :)

Willy, I have seen you come full circle. From the RSB posts with your questions on cue building, and the wrath of the baldheaded one, to today's anouncement. Sometimes hobbies are about the quest, and when the mountain is climbed its done. I got something out of your sharing the climb.

Takes all kinds to make a world.
There are some from that period that have never outgrown it.

I have not sold the shop yet ... just letting it be known it is available.
Times are tough and I dont expect a deluge of phone calls about it.

Odds are I will still be making a cue or two this time next year.

Gary, I have learned a lot over the years also.
I think the biggest revelation was that there is so much more I could learn and that there are things I am not even aware of yet.

Cue Making is a never ending process of learning and developing regardless of how long you have been at it.

Very true and well said!

Willie,

Sorry to hear you have desided to sell your stuff. I hope you will continue to post here and share your experience and knowledge.

Thanks a Million!!

yes it is a real bargain for some one that has 15K laying around. But unfortunitly in this economy with out being willing to split things up and piece it out its going to be a really hard sell.

Any ways WilleeCue I wish you the best of luck with your sale and where ever your endevers take you.

well if I sell gumbo at $5 a bowl......thats only 3,000 bowls of gumbo......

hummm now I can break that down even further and say I only need to find 1500 people to buy 2 bowls of gumbo b/c yea my gumbo is that good.

1500x2 doesn't sound that bad......

now all i need is a little bit of chablis wine and some shrimp :)

got roux?

I hate to see Willee sell off his shop as I know he will regret it . I have spent many days there and have seen some really nice lumber leave his door . I kind of hope that nobody has the cash , it's a great deal if they do have it . I have one of Willee's cues and it would be a loss to the world of pool if he stopped making cues . Oh well , such is life ...:rolleyes: P1000517.jpg
