hey, folks as a member of the ipt, my plan is to let it all out on tv. i'm gonna let my stroke and personality out! i'm gonna make earl strickland look like a meeting in congress!!!! i plan on being BIG. not obnoxious, no not at all, just real, and on the edge, you will be able to feel my nerves through the television like ismeal peaz, you know? i got a ton of persoanlity, and i'm anxious to get out there and show it off!! just wanted you to know, i'm excited i hope you all are too, look for me Bernie Friend.

no i wasn't drunk. i am trying to be realisitic. i am low on funds, so i can't practice the way i should be practicing. i should be practicing 8 hours a day 7 days a week. so, instead of trying to compete with the likes of mika immonen and tony robles, i am trying to be a stand out name, through my personlity. remember, the ipt is more about colorful people/players, rather than just players. our goal is to try and bring pool to the same populairity as poker. in 2005 the camera needs a personality to follow around and viewers at home, need to want to tune in each week, to watch what happens with that player. if we as ipt members believe that this tour is gonna be like all the others, forget it! mr. truedue is looking for people with presence.

Good luck with the practice. I'm also averaging only 3 hours a day and hoping to build that up to 8 hours / day in the last month.
i believe EVERY match will be filmed!! that's what makes the IPT different from any other tour. they will air only the matches with greatness, and the other matches with persoanlity, that's my take, will have to wait and see in orlando, hey what are you doing in china? you don't look chinse.

My belief is different. There will be about 150 matches in Orlando. It costs about $10,000 to film one match unless you do it with a handicam on a shaky tripod. The math is not favorable.8-ball bernie said:

Bernie was accused of being someone else in another thread. Can't remmber what the name was. Someone who used to sign his name Bernie. I don't know if he got banned back then, but I went back and compared and their writing styles were very alike - typos, not capitalizing first words, etc. Plus enthusiasm.
