Who is the funniest or the most fun Pool Player to be around you have ever known?
For me, I guess it would have to be Pete Margo.
I met him one night at the Bar in Ceasers Palace back during World Series of Tavern Pool (the most amazing Bar tournament ever held) and the guy was like a Stand Up Comic and kept everyone in stitches.
Ronnie and Kieth can both be pretty entertaining as well.
Denis Strickland from Houston can be pretty outrageous at times too.

Who was Peter Rabbit? My memory is not what it was or maybe I just never knew him.

P.S. Did you see who Lj was playing for the quarter in Memphis and how they came out? Just curious?

The guys from England are pretty funny, Tony Crosby, Raj Hundal, Richard Broumpton to name a few. Maybe it's just the accent and lingo that cracks me up. I second the nomination for Rodney, try going out drinking with him in a club and watch him go!! He is definitely out to have fun and have a good time whereever he goes.

Pete Lhotka (sp.?) is known as Peter Rabbit. He's a long-time road player, who was well known in the 60's & 70's. I believe he still lives in the Phoenix area.

uhhh...thanks to google, I found it!

A great article displaying the humor of Peter Rabbit:
http://www.freepoollessons.com/stories/stories6.shtml

A short intro:
Peter Lindhart, alias Peter Rabbit, The Rabbit, or just plain Rabbit to his friends...
That's right if it walks like a rabbit, smiles like a rabbit, looks like a rabbit, but has smaller ears, stands 5'10", weighs 200+, and carries a cue stick --- It's Peter Rabbit.

Rabbit is without a doubt one of the funniest pool players of all time, he could tell you a fairly clean joke every minute for days. He always has a smile on his face and laughs all the time. Truly a delightful personality.

My thoughts of Rabbit go something like this, ie;
1964, I'm living in West Palm Beach, Fl., I just beat Fats in an exhibition match at the Carefree Theater in West Palm.

A couple of days later I'd heard a poolplayer by the name of Peter Rabbit beat Fats 5 games in a row of one pocket for $300 a game at the Congress Bowl in Miami.

...go to link above to read the rest! Some other great stories there too!

My ribs hurt the day after hangin out with Rodney

Rodney has got to be the funniest pool player. After spending many days hanging around the pool hall hearing stories from him, and a LOOONG (you know 9Baller) day at Bush Gardens...I don't think anyone can compete with him. He will have not only your ribs hurting, but your cheecks too!!

My hat is off to Rodney's sense of humor...one like that is hard to find in a world beater!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Danny DiLiberto. Every phrase uttered is designed to entertain. Also has a host of tremendous stories.
