Up for sale is a used Schon STL-3.
This cue and shafts are straight and have been well cared for. The only noticeable defect is a something of a scuff mark near the butt that is visible in picture #2. The paint looks chipped but the finish doesn't feel chipped. (?) Not sure how that happened. Also, the Schon shaft has a couple of very tiny light dings that should come out easily with light sanding during a professional cleaning. Finally, you can feel slight raising of the finish over the joint ring. Other than these minor points, the cue looks very good.
I've had this cue for about 6 years. I had Rick Phillippi install a boars hide leather wrap.
The Predator shaft was custom made by KJ (KJ Cues). Many of you know his skills getting a nice fitting joint. The shaft insert is made especially for Schon cues. There is NO overhang where joint meets joint. Note this is a heavier Predator, which gives this cue very good balance.
Cue butt weighs 15.7 oz
Schon shaft weighs 3.9 oz and is about 12.5 mm. The full cue is 58" with this shaft.
Predator shaft is 4.4 oz and measures about 12.7 mm. Length is 29 11/16" and the full cue is 58 3/4" with this shaft.
