Could we please give new member TJL, a warm welcome to AZB and the Forum! He is brand new and proud to be a member of the AZB family of Great People! He joined AZB, 2-22-11, how new is that! He sounds like a good player!

Hi ajl hope you enjoy our forums and meet many new friends,no matter what your questions might be one day, some one here will always have an answer for you,there are a lot of very good people here as you will find out,so i look forward from hearing from you from time to time,take care and WELCOME ABOARD! richie adams.

paranoid but I've seen what can happen to nice people on this forum. I mean I used to be an effing priest. And
how do you sound like a good player? Everybody here claims to be a C player and wants weight. Something fishy here. :welcome: to the jungle. Is it AJL or TJL?

AJL, is brand new to the forum. Also a brand new member! This is no joke! I wanted Tramp Steamer to welcome AJL, is all. Tramp said he was the sheriff on AZB. We kid with each other, but no joke about this thread. BCH, I can't believe you would think, something like what you said in your post! About Lock N Load. I don't want weight, I give weight! And plenty of it! I love the AZB family...

In my opinion, we really don't need a rah, rah, everyone bring a casserole dish, every time a new member joins here.

What I would like to see, is that new member write a post and tell us a little bit about them, from their own mouth.

If you want a certain person to "welcome" someone... just PM that person and tell them your wishes. No need to start a brand new thread.

All these silly threads, just make some threads with some substance to them, scroll off that much quicker.

Just a thought for you to consider... It's a free forum, so people will do as they wish, but it never hurts to provide info to think about.

C'mon Cali, don't you feel like singing kum bah ya (sp) when you read some of L&L's posts? :p

All kidding aside, I have to agree. I know the guy is high on kindness and grateful for whatever someone(s) did for him here (I saw the thread title but didn't read the thread) but I'm all kum bah ya'd out.

oh, c'mon man... no need to go from one extreme to the other. I offered some constructive critism and simply wished that you would entertain what I wrote. From there, you could proceed as you saw fit.

I mentioned that my feelings were "my opinion". I mentioned that I would to hear from the actual member themselves. (you have to admit, it's a little weird for me to talk to someone who may not ever even read it) If they wrote a introduction, I'm sure a lot of people would have said welcome... at least we would know something about the person and would be responding to them.

My "help" was the same thing as if you were at a pool hall and I noticed (along with others) that everytime you got ready to shoot, you stood up and yelled "Silence"! Now if I came over to you and politely said... hey, you don't really need to do that... just shoot pool.. you would probably do better.

Would you sweep the balls, pack up and say I'm never playing pool again?

Don't be so sensitive... this is a forum, we all share opinions. It's just food for thought.. do with it as you see fit. It's not that big of a deal.

After all... it isn't like you started a aiming thread:D
 
I sort of agree with CaliRed about the OP liking the new thread button. I remember LL posting a thread about his father breaking his hip and a friend passing (I think). Then I saw another thread for an update. IN MY OPINION, it'd be easier to just post the update in the original thread. It's hard enough keeping on top of this very very active forum.

On another note, I know a few forums have an "Introduction sub-forum" for new members to post and say a bit about themselves. Just a thought.

Please don't be so sensitive when reading this OP. It's not like you, compared to your happy-go-lucky tone in all your posts.
 
New guy status wears off

L&L-

As a new guy-you, me, your buddy, all of us take some ribbing till the newness rubs off a bit. It's just normal initiation rites. Its a test. Hang in-it doesn't last forever.

Personally-as a recovering 'nice guy'-I find it helpful to tell others to STFU occaisionally-just to balance out the mellowness.

I'm sure Tramp has his own take on this, as only Tramp can express.

And, who is this AJL person? What did they do, lose there eyes and hands in a freak explosion down at the gas plant? Sounds suspicious to me. I'm going with Cali, on this one. :)

Tramp, When I came on board to AZB, Matt90, JoeyA, Jay H, Cali Red, and many other AZB members welcomed me! It made me feel good all over and inside! That meant a lot to me. All I did was try to return some of the love AZB members showed me. I have a lot of baggage I am carrying right now. I did not mean any harm or create any problems! I am still sorta new to AZB.... It was a great place to come to. I am outta of here! Thanks.

Dont go away lock ,i dont think they ment no harm,you are a good man for these forums!we always cant agree on every thing,thats half the fun here,dont take every thing personal,we all see things different some times.
