I just picked up 2 additional Bob Frey Sneaky Petes directly from Bob. Here are the specs:

1. This is an almost new Bob Frey Sneaky. It has been test hit and was sold to a local player but they never came up with any money. His lost is your gain.
Specs:

Butt - Cocobolo with Hoppe Ring 14.9 oz, 3/8 x 10 pin, thinner butt at 1.225"
shaft - 3.5 oz, 12.8mm, Kamui Black SS
total weight - 18.4oz
balance point 18" from butt end

2. Specs:
$OLD
Butt - Bacote with hoppe ring 14.5oz, leather wrap, 3/8 x 10 pin
shaft - 4.0 oz , 12.88mm, triangle tip
total weight - 18.5oz


3. Specs: (top cue, right cue)
$old no trades please
butt - Cocobolo with hoppe ring, 15.7oz, 5/16 x 14 stainless steel joint, std taper of 1.255"
shaft - 3.7oz, 13.03mm, triangle tip
total weight - 19.4oz
balance point - 19" from butt end

Lots of interest, main question i'm getting...how does Frey Sneakys play compared to Scruggs Sneaky...Any Frey owners want to answer that, I dont want to sound bias here.

Keep in mind, Bob was a machinist and built the shaft template for Scruggs...

IMHO…..my 3 Frey SP’s play like my Scruggs SP on steroids.
 
James, I know that you have found your players. We should just keep that a secret between us (the Frey owners).
 
Only one left until the next batch comes in, which maybe some time since one of Bob's lathes went down.
