The Great mtpocket4u Legend

titlistsucker

Deceased
For years now (since 99), whenever this ebay nick comes up, it strikes fear in my hearts... Willie Hoppes, titlists, brunswicks, Rambows, Palmers...I have never won any auction whenever he is involved, and this morning he did it again!!

Who is this legend with seemingly bottomless pockets? I would love to know his background so that i can send my assasination team after him..
Anyone care to shed a light...?

i actually had the good fortune of beating him on an auction a couple of years ago. the auction went off on a saturday night during the lennox lewis/klitchko fight and my computer was in the same room as the tv and his wasn't. i was so pumped up because i had lost 10 or 20 auctions to him and now i had won. but once i won he contacted me and we made a nice multi-cue trade and he ended up with the auction cue anyway!! believe me, rick is a great guy and very fair and easy to deal with. he definitely does not have "mtpockets" tho.

Damn, and he's bidding on a cue I'm bidding on. I better start looking for another one. :)

when he decides he wants a cue, he usually ends up with it. one of these days i'm going to get over to his place and see his collection. i can only imagine what that must be like. and the problem is, he's too nice a guy to be mad at when i lose an auction to him.

guy

You can't be mad at a guy who likes horse racing and the NY Yankees! And his name is "Rick"??? He's okay in my book.

Rick is a nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. :) He has always been pleasant at VF and he genuinely loves cues.

Joe

You too, huh? Yeah, I've lost to him quite a few times. I don't think I've ever beat him.

Good handle, but I have another name for him.

See, this is what happens when you experiment with cues. He started off with "harmless" Meucci's and worked his way up to the hard stuff. This is your brain on Meucci ;) and this is your brain on Szamboti's

Do not ask this man for advice. HE helped me get hooked on the Oldies. I sold to him a few times - very nice guy. His collection is "tits".

Rick is a great guy in my book! You can't ask for more than a cue deal with Rick, whether buying or selling. Also, I admire someone who knows exactly what he wants out of life and then actively pursues it. Major cue collector, Harley guy, poker player, family man, and entrepreneur in one of my all time favorite industries... You da man, Rick!

Does this guy have a website where we can view his collections?

No, but he is a member of the ICC and has displayed at 2 of the first 4 shows.

you guys sure beat around the bush with your posts (no pun intended)
if your going to hint at it in your posts why dont you just say it?
the family man, entrepreneur, icc member, that you admire so much, owns a strip club
