He's amazing. And here I though I loved the game. That is what dedication really is. I guess I should stop complaining about my herniated disk and torn rotator cuff.

Then I noticed the dartboard and couldn't help but think...

Amazing young man.

And, yeah, I guess this should have us complaining much less.

Best,
Brian kc

It's amazing the obstacles people can overcome. The shooting was impressive, but getting the balls out of the pockets and spotting them whould be no small task either. Impressive!

This is awsome. Its amazing what a person can accomplish with alot of determination and a little motivation.

thanks for the post:thumbup:

It never ceases to amaze me what humans are capable of overcoming. Especially in the pursuit of something they love. The young man's name is Richard Bates and he lives a very full life. Check out some videos of Nick Vujicic and his motivational tour or Dick Hoyt and his son running the marathon. If you are ever having a bad day, these people can show you how to make it better. All credit to them for doing one thing better than nearly everybody else on the planet. LIVING LIFE! :clapping:

Someone should invite this kid to become a member of AZ if he isn't already.

I love this quote from him (second video posted by Neil):

"There seemed to be two groups of people. There seemed to be the people who were born disabled and the people who become disabled." -- Richard Bates

One day I hope I get the chance to visit his local pub and shake his foot. :)
