Zimmerman - Harvey Martin For sale

Here is an old and very rare cue made by Tex Zimmerman out of San Francisco ( Whitehead & Zimmerman Billiard Co.). Tex worked very closely with Harvey Martin as you can obviously tell my the design construction of the cue. I cannot pin point the actual date on when this cue was made but I would guess it was in the mid 1960's

The cue has really no dings or dents per say but does have signs of wear The butt is 17.2 ounces and 29" long with a thicker (old school) butt diameter and what appears to be a newer leather wrap on it and has a slight (.050") roll to it which should be expected for a 50 year old cue. The joint material is not ivory. Has the original bumper on which I think is just so cool. Very large 3/8" aluminum pin. Original shaft 2.9 ounces and 28" long with about a 12mm diameter, rolls pretty darn straight, I cant tell if the ferrule has been shortened or not because these cues are so hard to come by. But it may be the original design length, remember these were billiard cues at the time. Together the shaft and butt roll pretty darn straight. This is a solid hitting cue with a really great balance to it.

Please PM me your offers.
