OK, this wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I launched iMovie on my Early 2011 MacBook Pro this morning. I was surprised to see how mature iMovie is now compared to just a few years ago. It's packed with a bunch of templates, and if you go to YouTube you'll find lots of really easy tutorials on how to do stuff. I should mention there's built in support for publishing to Vimeo.
Anyway, 14-1StraightMan is warming up for his Summer 2011 quest to bust through the 200 ball barrier. I'm rooting him on from the sidelines. Well, I'm actually trying to give him some competition, but I'm not yet comfortable with my cue (still feels foreign in my hands).
I set up a Vimeo site:
http://vimeo.com/poolmouse
I'm uploading my first video. It's a trailer for a forthcoming video, due out in Summer 2011. It might take an hour or so to upload since I signed up for the FREE account, so my upload is queued up to start in about 30 minutes.
It's in high definition...make sure you go FULL SCREEN and make sure the HD icon is enabled (should be BLUE)...
