These cues are not on the Adam web site. Is it possible they are counterfeit?
As far as I know Adam does not make decal cues.

Which is why I asked the question. I actually bought one of these a while ago from an ebayer, so know what they cost - and what they are worth.

It is perfectly possible Adams have started doing a budget line, however.

What no reply from the op! Interesting... Sorry but looks like they have done decal cues.

I didn't reply because I didn't see the post, I only look at the thread every couple of days to bump it up.

I brought them from a reputable dealer and I was told they are real so that is what I am saying.

They look good and hit good. PM offers if interested.

Here's a link with an actual picture of one of these cues

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/442344190-Shi-zunjue-billiards-new-Taiwan-ADAM-ADAM-water-in-benchmarking-introductory-first-choice-wholesalers.html

I owned the top 2 cues in this picture. I resold one on ebay and swapped another for a Schon shaft. Didn't need these after buying an Adam Machette. They're made ok but the wrap feels like twine and the shaft is laquered.

Just before selling the cues, I needed to have some dings removed from the shaft and the cue repair guy said this was the hardest cue he's ever worked on. He had to sand and sand and sand it to get the finish off so he could get to the actual wood.

Just to set the record straight, here are my photos from my eBay sale

I originally assumed it was just a cheap Taiwan adam even after talking to our local cue repair guy. I searched alibaba several times but couldn't find anything.

I got a little suspicious when the only guy on ebay selling these cues (Delta_Sport) started selling a brand called Adam II. I proceeded to spend about 2 hours searching alibaba and other chinese websites until I finally found it.

Yes, I, unknowingly, did rip that guy off for the schon shaft, especially since it has a moori soft. He's a good friend and was ok with the trade even after I found it on alibaba.

What IS that alibaba website? I did pretty much the same as you and used that site when I was looking to buy a few cues a while ago, but couldn't work out what it was. They had top brands like Predator and Kamui, but priced at around 80-100% retail. If they're counterfeit, surely they'd be pitched lower?

The cues you sold look much better quality than the Adams I bought. I made a 250% mark-up on mine and feel bad about. :embarrassed2:

Alibaba is a site to buy foreign products direct from the manufacturer at wholesale prices. However, they're not always at wholesale prices.

There are a lot of counterfeit cues on the site, Poison, Predator & Adam are the most common. Also, Moori & Kamui tips.

The cue might look good but it's definitely a cheap cue.
