A lot of people asked about this match. I lost it when it was streamed due to a tech issue but thankfully CaliRed captured the stream. He is working with us uploading some things from this years US Open One Pocket and 10 Ball.

It will all be for free. I am working on something else right now that is a huge deal for TAR so I have no shot at any DVD production. This way people can at least see the matches. Thanks to CaliRed for capturing this and for helping with the YouTube uploading.

If you are one pocket guy you will enjoy this match. It is commentated by Billy Incardona and Larry Schwartz. There is an audio glitch at the beginning whoever was on the switcher didnt turn off the commercials audio and that is the music you hear for the first four minutes or so. Other than that its a solid one pocket match.

I put all four parts in a playlist so you can watch it straight through, its over three hours long. Its here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?p=PL66AE5805F16BA1C9

Enjoy and if you like it thank CaliRed cause he saved it from oblivion.

You guys are in for a real treat on this match. You add up all these factors and you got a MATCH!!!

1. Efren Reyes (or Efrum:D) Arguably one of the greatest onepocket players over the last 20 years. "The Magician" You won't see standard textbook onepocket from this man. He combines a championship level of ball running, 3 cushion skills, imagination, unreal cueball control, caroms, banks, combos, and anything else known and not known to man. Oh, and he's a old washed up has-been at 56 years old so the only way he has a chance to win is if he gets "lucky":D

2. Corey Deuel - A true student of the game and a inventor of new ways to do things. When you watch him, you're going to see shots that no one else would ever shoot, with good success. He is going to put on a kicking clinic. A very strong onepocket player and does not play by the book. So if you like imagination, fire that browser up and kick back!

3. CSI (Cuesports International) and Mark Griffin put on a spectacular event. Mark brought in a satellite at great cost, so TAR would have a dedicated Internet feed to stream this. TAR put on full production with multiple camera angles, mobile cameras and TAR was using their brand new HD cameras for the first time. You will see numerous different camera angles shown thru out the entire match. (Think ESPN) Thanks to RunoutMedia for their work in this production.

4. You have the best commentator in the business on the mic, Mr. Billy Incardona along with his good friend Larry Schwartz. Billy brings his decades of experience and his unique style of teaching while commentating, to make listening to the match as fun as watching the match. Players at every level will learn something listening to Billy and have fun doing it.

5. This is a race to 4 and it goes hill/hill and comes down to the last 4 ball on the table. Hows that for excitement?

All of us onepocket fans give a huge shout out to TAR for making this available to us for free.

I am very glad I am such a onepocket fan and that fate had it, that even though TAR had a hardware glitch, that this, and other matches, are now going to live on for decades to come, due to my decision to record these.

Enjoy the match! It doesn't get any better then this!

Corey vs. Efren.

Coulda stopped there...that is all that needs to be said to know you are in for a real treat.

What an incredible time we are living in...where we can see something like this, from the comfort of our own environments.

I also saw a killer whale kill a great white the other day. Corey vs. Efren will be better.

Thanks, CaliRed and JCIN.

Major kudos

Great work and the kind of group effort that is pretty dam cool.

Many thanks guys.

Now, I'll go watch it -thanks to modern technology and old school helpfulness. Very neighborly. A welcome sight these days.

Take care

ps-JCIN-Good luck with your project. Hopefully it's pool related-

you guy's are right.. it is very cool to be able to watch something that could have easily been something you saw on TV by a major network, but the cool factor jumps by 100% when you find out it is a Onepocket match between "the man" and Corey Deuel, that's 3.5 hours long and there's no commercial interruptions.

I've been thru it countless times already but have only saw bits and pieces. I think I'll hook it up to the TV and watch it on the big screen!

on a side note to this match.... I was curious how many onepocket fans we have over here, that would watch the entire 3 1/2 match?

Or if you're not that hard core, what do you watch? The end of it? The 1st part of the 4 parts? 10 mins of it, a hour?

Do you bookmark to watch it later?

Are there people that really don't know what onepocket is and go check it out, out of curiosity? If there are any of those, did any of you want to learn more about it.. did it pique your interest?

Just curious of the viewing habits of AZB'ers, when it comes a premier onepocket match. All replies are kept confidential. :D

I watched the entire thing, and I don't play much one-pocket. I did have to turn the volume off after the first game, though...the commentary was, well, not my cup of tea, I guess.

CaliRed - Thank you! You are a candidate for poster of the year for your contributions to AZB, especially the videos of DCC and now this. You da MAN!

To answer you question, I watched this match live (TAR PPV) and will watch it again in its entirety.

Well thanks!!! Poster of the year???

hmmm... well if that happened and if 899 people felt the same way, and wanted to chip in one penny each... I would be honored to own this tool to help my game.

CaliRed-

Thanks to you and JCIN. I watched it all yesterday. As a new to the game 1P player, I thought the match was great.

Maybe others can answer-was Efren a lot better in years past? If so-Wow!

It looked to me that Corey Duel is pretty creative. The kicks to start caroms out of the stack were impressive. Not dead carom/combinations-but off angle stuff requiring very accurate kicking and speed.

Both these guys see things that I will never see. And execute when it is most critical. Both amazing skill and knowledge.

Thanks again.

This is another one I have put on 'subscribe'.
I'll watch it in one sitting when I have time.
I have remarked before that Corey reminds me of Efren...
..and any time that Jay Helfert agrees with me, I'm happy.

Thanx to you and Justin for posting this.

I was able to watch parts 2-4 (not sure where part 1 is on YouTube). Really, that last game could have gone either way. Corey was really kicking well for the most part. Efren wasn't playing a few simple shots that well. All in all a good match from what I saw.

That second game was amazing. I thought Corey was certainly going to lose. He got himself out of a dire situations.
