Thank you Dennis for asking us to stream your event.

As some you may know Mi_Billiards has been streaming 3 cushion events for the past couple of years and we are looking forward to live streaming this 14.1 event. Of all the pocket games 14.1 is my favorite so this will be a treat.

I understand that Dennis is trying to line up some top notch commentators, I'm sure he will keep us updated.

You will be able to view the live stream at our website and we are working on having score results on the same page. (below the video window)

So far, George Fels has agreed to commentate. I will keep you guys advised as things develop.

Freddy the Beard has agreed to help George with the commentary duties.

He did play straight pool back in the day.

I think he may have played in tournaments up at Marie's Golden Cue that boasted players like Wendell Weir, Marshall Bolter (sp?), Tom Karabotsos, Spencer, Latimer, and others.

Feel free to chime in if any of you know some of the players of that era.

Yeeha! :)

Live-Stream and "Big George" will commentate.....i will celebrate this on this day!!!

thx a lot friends!

16. Jeff Carter (Sailor said he thought Jeff would play but unconfirmed as of today)

Look at number 11, who committed last night.

Two years ago, he came out of the winners side, but was unable to go to NJ. Since then, he has had a long session with Dallas West. He has to be one of the front runners.

I received an email from Mark Snodgrass, who came in second to Karabotsos about 4 or 5 years ago. I think he is playing in Cleveland this weekend but would not be surprised to see him at Red Shoes if he doesn't get in through Cleveland. I know he has run 100 before.

The field might be getting a little stronger!:D

Scrap my $50 on #13 -

if #16 plays - he's my pick!

Freddy and George on the Mic - I wouldn't miss this for anything!

Before you run to the window: the 11 horse hasn't been playing the last month -- been traveling: Europe, NYC, Wisconsin, and Chicago. As far as the tournament, once again, it was my wife saying, "Oh, you have to go. It's straight pool."

that's great, and thanks to sde for streaming, as well as Dennis for asking about that :) That needs to be recorded for later viewing I think. I don't know whether I will be able to watch it live yet.

Big John, you think this boy is a hustler?

George Fels has agreed to do commentary? This is an opportunity for me to pick up on some cool lines and prescriptive straight pool protocol. AND, I get to pull for my AZB buddy Luigi. ;-)

George thanked me for thinking of him.

Later, he said he would need at least one Angus Burger from the Red Shoes Kitchen in order to keep up his strength.... And a Cherry Cheese Kringle to be delivered by Frank "Sailor" Stellman of Racine. Sailor is a straight pool legend in the Midwest.

I've seen George nod off at the Derby City Classic so don't feed him too well.

Dennis, thanks for the updates!

You're very welcome. This will be a great event and we are looking forward to doing the streaming.

All matches played on the feature table will be recorded and archived on Ustream. I'll also be recording to the computer HD and a standalone DVR.

I just spoke to George Pawalski from Wisconsin. He is a 200 ball runner. He will be there to spectate and kibbitz with George F and Freddy.
