They are just taking over the house & I would like to trade off my Baseball Card Collection (& very few Racing) if anyone is interested. I collected hard & heavy from 1996-1999, picked it back up in 2009-Present so thats the years I have & of all the brands. Bowman, Bowman Chrome, Topps, Topps Chrome, Donruss, Leaf, Pinnacle, Upper Deck, etc......

About 80% of all the cards are in penny sleeves & about half of those are also in top loaders. I have some autos, some game used, but I DO NOT have any just really high dollar cards, all in the $8-$75 range. All the Stars, Semi Stars, Unlisted stars, Rookies are there. I have taken the Texas Rangers & Atlanta Braves out, but any Dupes of these teams are included in the collection.

As you can see the collection is for the most part organized by Year & Brand. All the Yankees & Mets have been pulled, but only because I was trying to get ANYTHING new york out of my house!! They will be going with the collection.

An approxrimated guess on the number of cards is around 85,000-90,000. Also any supplies, penny sleeves, top loaders, empty boxes (on the top of the racks), & whatever else I decide to throw in the mix to get it out of here.

THE SORTING TRAY DOES NOT GO, NOR ANY BASEBALLS OR GLOVES, OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT MAY HAVE SHOWN UP IN THE PICS. JUST CARDS & SUPPLIES!

I will carefully pack up everything & deliver this collection to you within 150 miles of the Dallas-Fort Worth area

I will not sort through these to find players, teams, list Auto's or GU's, I want to just pack it up and trade it as an entire collection. Hell, if the trade value is close enough to my asking price, I will throw in the 2 Shelving Units also!!!

Asking $1200 Trade Value OBO!! Shoot me PM's with your offers & help me get rid of these.

Would like to trade for a good player like maybe a Sly, Gilbert, Stacey, Klein, Olivier, Titlist conversion, Coker, Skip Weston, etc.....

Thanks, Kenne T.

Just to be clear as I had someone interested, you pulled ALL years of

Yankees
Mets
Rangers
Braves

Or just a certain year?

I also have a lot of cards sitting around, but they are more from the 80's and early 90's. Maybe I will try and sell or trade them one of these days, but I will definitely not be able to retire off them like I hoped.

Good luck

By the way, you might want to ask the mods to move this to the wanted/for sale section.

I pulled ALL years of the teams, I pulled the yanks & mets because I was going to try to sell them as a team lot, but they never got sold so I DO have them & they ARE included in the collection, as far as the Rangers & Braves go, I pulled from all years but only kept 1 of each card, so the duplicates ARE included in the collection as well

but I will definitely not be able to retire off them like I hoped.

I also believed at one time I would get that "unbelievable" price for my collection one day, but reality has set in & Pool, Cues, Cue Cases, & Cue Building have certainly taken over as my #1 obsession so maybe I can get a good trade for a strong player or something & also give someone with the card collecting bug a good time sorting & putting sets together. When both parties get what they want and are happy, you just cant beat that :D

This has nothing to do with pool, and should be, if anywhere, in the for sale forum.

I was hoping to find a pool player that also is a card collector & possibly make a trade for a POOL cue, or POOL cue case, so it has EVERYTHING to do with POOL!!! If you're not interested in the trade why even feel the need to comment....some people have a bit too much time of nothing to do!!

Being rude isn't gonna help you sell your collection. Just a suggestion.

No problem if you are trying to trade for a pool related item.

However, tell the mods to move it, and it will do much better in the wanted/for sale section

Thank you for your suggestion Trigger, you are right. But when someone posts for the absolute sole purpose of being an A$$, Im not going to ignore that either. I have seen threads started to trade tools, computer equipment, even web design so I figured I was not too far off base by offering up my card collection among cue collectors. Or maybe finding someone wanting to trade interst among hobbies like I am doing.

So when you say ask the Mods to move it, I just post it here or how do I go about it so maybe in the correct section it wont upset so many other members.

before there is a pissing contest, why not just move pass the thread when you see its not something to do with pool, thats what I do, and I notice they go away pretty fast.JMO p.s. I use to collect bb cards so that is why I stopped to look.

I never expected this to get a lot of attention & knew it would move off of page 1 rather quickly because I thought MOST people would read the title and move past, I even specified DALLAS Area. & I was going to bump it up each morning for a few days then forget about it. I was just wanting to give it a chance that it might catch a Pool playing Card Collectors eye & we could work something out.

I have contacted Mr. Wilson asking him to move it to the Wanted/For Sale section. I hope that will resolve some conflict & like I said I am only going to let it go for a few days then its gone so it will not "junk" up other members pages that have NO interest but cant seem to move past.

I never received a request to move this but i did receive a bunch of complaints.

This collection may only be traded for pool related items and not sold.

edit....if you want to reach me..don't send visitor mesages. Send a PM.

Not one word in the OP suggest I am trying to SELL, I made sure to make it clear that I would like to TRADE it for a Pool related item so I would not catch a lot of flack for posting this on a Pool related forum, I guess I overestimated the openmindedness......

Thank you for getting this moved, I apologize to all that was bothered by it being in the wrong section.

I have a pretty extensive collection of cards also Plus a stamp collection I inherited.

I never really thought of trading my cards or stamps for Pool items, but it's a good idea considering most collectors have numerous areas of interest.

Good luck with your trade wish I lived closer...
