Hi there it's nor what you mean! I just want to learn some tips from him about his billiard strokes. You should see them play together with Efren BATA Reyes. they played so well. They are not to flirty or too showy with their craft and that is one thing i like in them. I just want to know when will they have there free clinic so they can also depart and share there knowledge. Better teach and hone young people so they will be much engrossed on it that being high on drugs. Right? A date with the Billiard kings would be appropriate title for this. Anyhow I just love billiard.

Wow, the OP makes her first post, and this is your contribution? You may not be aware of it, but this forum actually has a lot of international members.

Unfortunately the forum also have / has (? sorry I am a foreigner, English is not my first language..:rolleyes:) some members who are more concerned about trashing others than actually trying to contribute useful info.

To the OP, Bustamante have done some teaching, but to my knowledge mainly when he is back home in Manila. When he is travelling for tournaments, he normally doesn't have a lot of time for that.

Well said. There are too many wise guys making fun of other people. How many of these guys speak more than one language? Susan, you keep on posting.
 
I saw those guys at Tacony Billiards years ago. Definitely a great experience.
 
1000 rep points for u POOOLADDICT! I have also been put down in that fashion , i try and be very good at spelling but some of us arent perfect secreteries, theres a bunch of nice peop and a "hole" bunch mean people get it whole, hole?:thumbup:
 
Don t worry to just go to him and ask something if you ever see him. Francisco is a great nice guy and usualy responses everything you ask him. (pls not during the us-open finals :p).

I sincerely hope that she gets her date/s, and that they prove to be everything she hopes for.

If ever find I need dating advice, I will be sure to consult the link she provided.

I understand what you are saying...you are suggesting that Busty/Reyes offer some sort of giveaway or contest in which they share their pool knowledge with a lucky winner (and if its a girl maybe you can call it a "date"). Sounds like fun. I'm a guy, but I think I'd submit to this being called a date for a chance to learn from them! Those guys are the masters.

I had the extreme pleasure of attending a clinic in Florida with Bustamante and Reyes (and also Thorsten Hohmann and Tony Robles). It was quite awesome! Bustamante was actually a really good teacher, in spite of his less than perfect English. He was very good at getting his point across with simple words and gestures. I can say from experience that a lesson with these guys would be fantastic!

That's pretty harsh. I would say that Susan has learned enough English to get her point across. At least I was able to get it. My guess is she writes much better English than you write her native language. In any case, not the friendliest post by you. Being kind and friendly is another great skill that can also be learned...;-)

I readily admit that my apology (which you may not have seen) could (and should) be taken in multiple ways.

We're really picking up on different cues, here.

You see:
An eager young lady who bravely ventures out into a pool forum in a language other than her primary language to suggest that her favorite pool heroes provide a free teaching clinic (world location does not seem to matter to this multilingual damsel). You are all extremely chivalrous in standing up so fiercely for her.

I see, with my AZB-aged, cynically jaded eyes:
Travis Trotter ("Anyhow I just love billiard."), or someone similar, using a brand new name to make a first thread and post that makes a play on a recent news headline, demanding full forum recognition, while asking for a vague freebie.

The OP is particularly suspicious because they play coyly with the word "date," back up the double meaning with the word "flirty," and then further highlight the suggestive meaning by adding a link (tricky stuff for a first post) that leads us to a page dedicated to romantic dating advice.

I may very well be wrong. So I gave everyone concerned the small benefit of the doubt by making my apology general enough to actually be taken as sincere, if I am wrong about the OP. (However, as another woman, I strongly recommend that eager young ladies of any culture do not venture into foreign language forums, especially those centering on male dominated sports like pool, and begin threads in their first posts that solicit dates of any sort- especially when hinting at romance with at least one married man.)

Since I am only a "sidekick," I will have to let my "master" speak for himself on what he sees.

AND since apologies have been demanded, if I am wrong, I will offer an apology that cannot be taken in any other way. But if this OP is not what they seem, I do hope that you will all heed your own advice and offer your apologies to us "bozos" whose sh*t doesn't stink.
 
Post #2 was out of line, and I apologize to any who were offended by it.

I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to communicating effectively, and bad or unclear writing drives me crazy. In the future, I will make an effort to keep my mouth shut. (so to speak)
