Thanks for the stats, love'em. Even racking your own on untrained tables is very tough, I'm thinking a trained table or MR we could ad 15% to all those stats. Even slugged myself a couple times at Snookers

I attempted to buy the stream FIVE TIMES yesterday and just couldn't get in. Johnny is amazing and am very happy to see Rodney win.

Thanks again for the stats.

Thanks, Joe. They had lots of problems with the streaming yesterday (apparently caused by ustream rather than Inside Pool), but it went smoothly today, at least for me.

The one problem i have with the Seminole Tour is, that it is not called shot. When you run a top level tournament luck should not be involved. I know luck is part of the game, but pros shouldnt be rewarded for slopping balls in. The tournament at the SBE has some good rules, call shot and call safe.

Yea just bad luck for me, yesterday was home teaching, today was out learning ;)

I agree. It's basically 9-ball with an extra ball instead of true call-shot 10-ball rules. One modification they do make (to 9-ball rules) is to spot the 10-ball if it's made on the break in any of the pockets ahead of the head string. They do that because it's rack your own.

Edit: Johnny Archer and Stevie Moore were commentating a bit during the semi-final match in Canton, and they both mentioned how much they dislike slop-counts rules for professionals.

Here's some more information for those five matches.

As I reported in post #1, the breaker won 54% of the games (37 out of 68).

- But if the breaker made a ball on the break (and did not foul), he won 69% of the games (25 out of 36).

- And if the breaker did not make a ball on the break (or he fouled), he won only 38% of the games (12 out of 32).
Conclusion (no surprise!) -- while the advantage to the breaker was fairly small overall (54% wins), it was huge if he managed to make a ball on the break (69% wins).

This result was most extreme in the final match between Archer and Morris. In that match, the breaker won all 10 games in which he made a ball on the break, and the breaker lost 8 out of the 9 games in which he did not make a ball on the break.
