One of the AZB members said he was wondering when the play started because he was going up there with some friends. I had originally put it down for 1:00 but I believe I was corrected to a 3 p.m. starting time.

Oh by the way, this is that straight pool event that no one wants people to name. You know. The one with Oliver Ortmann, John Schmidt, Thorsten Hohmann, Mika Immonen, Stephan Cohen and all those other great 14.1 players.

I hear there is going to be a live stream but have not heard about who the commentators are. I would guess we will all know that soon enough.

#1 player in each group gets a bye into 32 men double
Top 4 Players advance to final 32
Tie breaker for each bracket
• Most matches won
• Highest total ball count
• Head to Head (if there’s only 2 players)
