I bought a cue from a friend who needed cash. I was told it is a Jimmy Reeves cue, but would like input from other members. First, I need help uploading pics, so if anyone can help, please PM me an email so I can forward pics to you. Thanks to anyone who will help.

Thanks for posting the pics for me! Now, can anyone help me ID this cue? It is for sale or trade, and I am asking $650 shipped CONUS. I just need to know if that is a decent price or not.

Open to all trade offers, but prefer Predator since I've gotten accustomed to the feel.

Thanks again for posting the pics deadnutz!

jimmy reeves generally uses a radial pin. give him a call.

Thanks Daniel. The exact words from my friend were, "Its a Jimmy Reeves cue, but someone named Max has been doing work for him some."

That could be where the difference is, or I coulda just got shafted....

Anyone interested? PM me cash or trade offers....I get those faster on my phone.

Honestly, I don't think it is a Jimmy Reeves cue. His cues usually have "Reeves" in the bumper and he uses a radial pin...that doesn't mean that he could not have used another. That pin looks like Viking's 5/16x18 modified quick-release pin. Also, the style is unlike anything I have ever seen from Reeves.

Like Daniel said, give him a call and ask him to take a look.

Thanks for the input. I'm not too familiar with may custom cues, so I wasn't sure what to look for. I was told that he had someone named Max doing work for him, so maybe that could be where things got changed from the normal. I know it plays good, I just can't get the feel for it. Does Jimmy have an email I could send pics to?

PM AZB member Daniel....he has been in touch with Jimmy a few times.

There's a guy in Charleston named Max that makes cues. The name of his cues are John Ross cues this looks like one of his. I hear they play well.

JOHN ROSS CUE NAMED AFTER THE CUE MAKERS GRAND FATHER i THINK.........

Thanks for all the input! Since it was made by Max here in Charleston, then I am assuming that it would make since that this cue is a John Ross cue then. I appreciate all the help from you guys!
