AZB LOGO contest

a logo for az billiards can be put in place of the vBulletin logo at the top of the page

i thought it might be a neat idea to have everybody that wanted to turn in a logo design

and after a certain amount of time we could have a main forum vote as to which logo to use

what do you'all think??????
 
Hell of an Idea I would say try asking Sizl ,his AZB banner design would look really good,

Ratchet - has no artistic talent
 
I am of the opinion that there has never been anybody with less artistic talent than me, so I will leave this task of developing a logo to the competent.

I would like to play. Suggestion - run a sticky thread for a month, Mike and you moderators pick the top 10, and have a final vote. Wiinner get's unlimited message storage for a year and a larger Avatar.

why dont we just call it " JEFF-Z " billiards???????

you just wait til jimbo gets wind of this then youll be in real trouble:D
 
the PRIZE would be that the logo you designed would be at the top of the forum :)

mike's mentioned a couple times it would be nice to have one.

i just thought this would be a nice way to have forum input.

i havent heard back from mike about the contest, it's just an idea.

I am sure I can find something around here that can be given out as a prize.

I think we will run the contest from now until Feb 15th.

The image can be gif or jpg. At least 80 pixels high and less than 400 pixels wide.

This is the image you will be replacing

OK - I say we name the forum and do a Logo - how's that??

Okay, now I'm really confused -- are you changing the name of the forum -- if so, to what? Or is it just the logo you wanna have changed and still call it vBulletin or AzB Forum... or... whatever it is..?

i see what chris is saying since az stands for arizona and arizona doesnt really encompass the forum membership.

but again, mike would have to OK the idea of a name change.

I dont think Chris is suggesting that the website be renamed. He is merely suggesting that the generic "VBulletin" be replaced with something more fitting.
That is what you mean isn't it Chris? Billiards Digest did not change the name of their site, when they started "The Cue Chalk Board".

i see what you are saying! of course the logo was to replace the vBulletin.
i was just thinking people were going to want az billiards or azb.

but we can run anything by mike :)
