Hi Guys,

I have about 300 shafts dowels that I've collected over the years and have now decided to turn them all into CM360 "Fearless shafts". I just finish my first batch of 20 plus. All these shaft have been carefully selected and tested to ensure that it has the playability and unique quality that make them CM360 "Fearless Shafts"!! I can have them available as partial so you can decide what joint type you would like to have install. The price for CM360 partial are $50.00 to $100 plus depending on the quality of the shaft wood, tone and testing results. All partial come standard with Molavia tips (H,M,S). I will personally test all these shafts to ensure it meets my playability standard.

I have the follow tap available for 3/8-10, 3/8-11, Radial, 5/16-14 insert, 5/16-18 insert. If you want a black phenolic collar please add $15.00 to the price. If you want layered tip (Moori, Molavia) please add $10.00. I have a list of shafts below that are completed and some as partial.

Left to Right:

Shaft 1,2,3 are partial = center drill, oversize at collar, 13mm, all with Molavia Medium tip = $65.00 each plus shipping

Shaft 4,5,6,7,8,9 are all 3/8-10 shafts, 12.8mm to 13mm, collar slightly overside at .845 plus,
Shaft with Molavia M&H = $85 each plus shipping
Shaft with Super Pro = $75.00 each plus shipping

Shaft 10,11 are Radial Pin, 13mm Molavia Medium, collar slightly overside at .845 plus, $85.00 plus shipping

Shaft 12,13,14,15 are 3/8-11, 12.7 to 13mm, collar slightly overside at .845 plus, $85.00 plus shipping.

Shaft 16,17,18 are 5/16-14, 12.7mm plus, collar slightly overside at .840 plus, $90.00 plus shipping.

All 3/8-10, Radial and 3/8-11 can be converted easily to 5/16-18 or 5/16-14 shafts.

Ok, will be posting new pics once these are all clean up. Diameter will be slightly oversize at .86. They will be center drill only and once you decide on the type of joint, I will tap them accordingly. I have another batch of ten that all tapped (3/8-11, 5/16-14, 5/16-18) ready to go. Pics and specs will be posted tonight. If you haven't tried these shaft, you will be really surprise how well they play.

Regards,
Duc.

Got 2 shafts today, and I must say that this is the first time I have ever had such an experience. When i got my first performance shaft a few years back (314 ), my expectations were that my whole game would improve, and that the feel and control of the shaft would be mind blowing.
Back then I was very disappointed.
When i got my fearless shafts today I did not really have too many expectations. When I first saw them here in this thread, I thought the idea seemed good, and some searching revealed Duc as a skilled craftsmen. The price was good as well, so I just decided to give these a try. Very little to loose.
I got them today, went to the pool hall, and for the first time since i started playing pool, 31 years ago, i was blown away by these shafts.
I tried them on a Viking VM10 cue (ebony/ birdseye maple, wrapless, W2W joint) as well as a Pruhliere with cork wrap i picked up a while ago. These shafts made so much of a difference that i can not begin to describe it.
The soft, yet solid hit, the finish. I know this is starting to sound like someone is paying me to say this, but I cannot help myself.
The deflection is higher than in most laminated shafts, but we are still talking an absolute minimum. I refuse to believe that there are things one can do with a Predator shaft, that cannot be done with a CM360 Fearless shaft.
This was a true love at first hit affair.
Thanks Duc!

Thanks for the review, glad you like them. I will have some more of the near finish shafts posted tonight.

Up to the top. Add a super nice curly CM360 Fearless shaft for sales!!! This shaft is super nice.

Hope to get mine soon

If I like it, will be getting 1 or 2 more for some radial butts I have. Any updates on my first one?

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Just about to finish 3 orders and you're will be next. Sorry for the delay...it's just been quite hectic in the last few weeks. I think you'll be very happy with the shaft you selected once it's finished. I happened to have a few Radial shafts partial ready to go as well. I will be able to finish your quickly after these order are completed.

Duc.

Just curious. What makes them "fearless"? Are they laminated, cored, etc. What makes them different from a "normal" shaft? Not busting your chops, the name has me curious to know more.

Hi Scott,

No problem, just no ferrule. Most builders believe these shafts will crack with no ferrule or pad, I think with the right shaft quality....it will be really hard for these shafts to be damaged with normal play. The benefit to CM360 is the natural feel and hit of a solid piece of high quality maple shaft with no interference from the ferrule, natural 360 deflection from shaft selection and lower deflection from less mass in tip area. I must have sold over 90 plus cues with these CM360 shafts and haven't heard of one crack yet. Actually, that not true, one of the first few shafts that I made for my friend name Mio was damaged when he try his power shot and miss cued. My excuse for this, the shaft was around 12mm and Mio is not your average pool player lol :).

Regards,
Duc.

Here's few more "Fearless" shafts that I'm completing for a client. The top three are optional but they will be available for those that want a CM360 with a black collar. I'm working on a few with black collar and nickel silver ring. So when I will try to have a few partial available at the same time as well.

The first shaft against the tape has super straight grain line and the tonal sound is sharp. It's going to be really good playing shaft for a viking cue. I also have a light curly shaft, 2nd from the top available as a partial right now. Just finished a super curly shaft for a 3/8-10 cue and tested on my CM98 Full splice, Verl Horn and Mcworter and it plays like a premier shaft should. Check these out:

Fearless...

Duc,

I saw this question asked before and, in addition to the fact that you can play the shafts as normal without fear, I can't imagine the naming didn't involve some sort of play on words with the word "ferrule-less," correct? Maybe that was obvious to all, which is why nobody had mentioned it...
